A good day!

I had a good, productive day of writing yesterday. I finished the first draft of The Concrete Gnome and sent it off to my sister to read and critique. I have a lot work yet to do on it, but at least I have a solid direction. Yes! :~)

I figured out what to do to "fix" some of the details in the chapter I worked on the other day. Will be working on that today. I love going back home to Alaska, even if it's only in my mind. BTW: Kindle owners ~ I spoke with my publisher (AuthorHouse) and the Kindle version of "Visions of You" will be uploaded soon. Friday

I won't be writing much today. Have to go to work soon. But, Shelby did manage to get out of her sticky situation from the other day. I need to do some tweaking on the chapter, but that will come later. :~)

Good Day to Write

I'm writing today...they say you should write every day, but some days I just don't feel it, so I don't. Guess I need to work on that. I have lots of ideas for Shelby and the gang that I need to get on paper and today's a good day to do it. :~)

Visions of You

I started writing about five years ago after my dad died. I began by writing down my thoughts and feelings as a way of dealing with my grief. Sometime during this process I started writing down a story about my dad. I'm still working on his story, but this started me thinking about actually writing a book.
Then the whole Twilight phenomenon happened. I began to wonder what real-life vampyres/vampires, i.e. sanguine people, thought of the popular portrayal of vampires as supernatural creatures instead of normal people with a physiological need to ingest blood. I wondered if they and others might enjoy a story, my story, Visions of You, in which the vampire characters are real people.
