Violet's Release!
Violet, Book Four of the Silver Series, is set to be published tonight! I am so excited. I love watching these books come together. The editing process is challenging, and so is the formatting because every site (Amazon, Smashwords, Createspace, and Barnes & Noble) have their own unique set of formatting requirements. It definitely keeps me on my toes and I have learned a great deal through this journey!
I'm very excited about book four because it is the only book in the Silver Series that talks about being a werewolf from a girl's point of view. I really enjoy the different set of problems and writing more from the heart than I do when taking a male's point of view. That's not to say that guys don't think from the heart, but I feel that the actions of my male werewolves come more from the direction of protecting those they love, defending their homes, and taking care of those who look to them for guidance, much the same way as male wolves in the wild. Writing from a girl's point of view, on the other hand, gives me the chance to explore the depth of love and companionship I feel would exist between werewolves. Wolves in the wild mate for life, and I feel that the same love and devotion would translate to life as a werewolf.
Here's a preview of the blurb for Violet:
Violet, the fourth book of the Silver Series, is about a teenage girl who awakens to the harsh reality of life as a werewolf. Protected by a wild werewolf with golden eyes, Colleen finds solace in his forest and control over her rapidly changing life. But Colleen’s control is put to the ultimate test when her loved ones are in danger, forcing her to choose between freedom or returning to the source of her nightmares.
Violet is a story of love amid loss and courage in the face of overwhelming odds. It is a story of finding a kernel of hope within a life torn apart by an accident and a cruel twist of fate.
I'm very excited about the release and I hope others enjoy the female POV as much as I enjoyed writing it. I don't believe that females have to be simpering or blubbery, and Colleen has her own bite and spark that I feels adds a great deal to the depth of the other characters around her. Enjoy!

Newsletter Feb 18, 2014!
Hello readers, friends, and family!
It’s been a busy two months! Between entertaining my four year old twin boys, helping my daughter with her science fair project, and playing rock concerts with our band Alien Landslide, additional books have been written! Snowy days that force us indoors are definitely the best for writing. Thank you for this cold Utah winter!
The Small Town Superhero Series has officially been released by Stonehouse Ink. It is a series about a boy who is battling his own inner demons plus bullies from his new school. He finds a way to retaliate as the Black Rider, fighting injustice on the back of a motorcycle.
The first two books of this series can be found on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBook, with the third book in the series following closely behind!
There are now two additions to the Galdoni Series! Book Two: Into the Fire and Book Three: Out of Darkness, are released!
Book Two follows Saro, a Galdoni caught by lies and the chaos of life outside the Academy. When Saro saves a female Galdoni, his world spirals out of control. Saro’s battle is finding what is worth fighting for, and putting his life on the line to protect those who took him in.
Book Three is about Reece, one of the first Galdoni to go to school. Hostility at every turn changes into confusion when Ava, a female Galdoni, enrolls at the same school. Reece finds himself drawn to her, but pushed away by the prejudice that surrounds him. When the school is attacked, he risks life and heartache to save Ava and the students who shunned him.
All of the books can be found on Amazon,
Barnes & Noble, iBook, and Smashwords!
All of my books are also currently in the process of being released in audio format! Most of the Silver Series, Galdoni, and Heart of the Wolf Part One are available with everything else quickly following. You can find them on Amazon.com and Audible.com.
I am currently writing Heart of the Wolf Part Two with the goal of finishing it by the end of February, and then releasing the finished novel by the second week of March. The next book on my agenda is book three of the Small Town Superhero Series, followed by the first book of the Werewolf Academy. Needless to say, I have an awesome few months of adventures, romance, epic fighting, and several wolves ahead of me!
Thank you for all of your support, your emails, and your reviews. I appreciate all the positivity and kindness surrounding my books. I love to hear from you. Your words always give an extra boost to a crazy, wonderful day!
With love,
Cheree Alsop
