What Am I Reading? ;-)

Halfway through a Brother Cadfael book — A Morbid Taste for Bones by Ellis Peters.

***

1. Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett — so far, loving it. So damn funny.

2. The Best Horror of the Year Volume Six, edited by Ellen Datlow — there wasn’t a single story where anything happened. So frustrating.

3. Indian Cooking Unfolded by Raghavan Iyer — great narrative, interesting recipes, but not for a foodie, for someone who wants the very basics.

State of the BA Address

So, things are going well. I’m learning to take two days off in a row, I’m writing my fingers off, planning travel, and just basically trying to destress and become the marketing guru.

Ha.

Okay, so maybe not that last one.

I’m branching out into horror and into young adult on the writing front, we’re planning a trip to London in the fall, I’ve lost ten pounds since December.I learned how to use my fireplace and we’re saving for a new swamp cooler and to redo the front yard.

I still love my wife, my dogs, and coffee.

There.

Much love, y’all.

BA

Six Sentence Sunday -- Untitled m/m WIP

CJ didn’t stop at that beach house, he just kept running and running, heading down the sand like a man possessed. Mills followed, keeping his distance, but doing his damnedest to make sure CJ stayed in sight. No way was he going to risk CJ’s mood. CJ ran until there Mills actually worried about him, then the crazy son of a bitch headed into the water.

Crap. He had to stay close enough to save that fine ass if he had to, but the didn’t want CJ to try kicking his ass for interrupting the blow job.

Much love, y’all.
