Guest Post -- Victoria Blisse
“You can call me Sir.” Something Brave Cover Reveal
Victoria Blisse’s newest BDSM novella is available for Pre-order at Totally Bound now. It’s the story of a shy vanilla woman and how she meets the only man she’s ever wanted to submit to. Felicity discovers her kinky side with the help of a Man she only knows as ‘Sir.’
Blurb:Blushing, hesitant Felicity does something incredibly brave and submits to a man she only knows as Sir, but will his demands push her beyond her limits?
Felicity attends the local burlesque fair just to sell her Quietly Cute jewelry. A handsome stranger offers to spank her, and she surprises herself by submitting. Sir makes her choose the implement he will use to take her spanking virginity—and uses it to great effect.
She finds herself becoming the sexy, self-made billionaire’s sub, who is punished with bondage, forced into exhibitionism, hot wax and other delicious tortures. Felicity submits willingly, becoming braver with every interaction. But when Samuel offers her the means to establish her business and pulls her out of the poverty she lives in, she snaps, seeing it as an insult to her pride and possibly even a payment for her sexual services.
Can Samuel convince her otherwise, or will she walk out of his life forever?
General Release Date: 17th November 2015
Excerpt:
“Oh, I think of you all the time, Felicity. When I’m meant to be concentrating on the figures, one…” She felt an explosion of heat just above her belly button a second after he paused, and she gasped and pulled her stomach in.
“Two.” Another drop landed a little higher, between her ribs, and she felt the two hot impact spots melting together into a river of warmth.
“Well, you get the idea.”
She heard the mirth in his voice. He was enjoying watching her squirm. Another drop of wax splashed between her breasts. The impact burned, and she writhed against her bonds. It wasn’t nice, it wasn’t pleasant, but the warmth and the condensing pull of the cooling wax was strangely sensual. She wanted more as much as she wanted it to stop.
“I think of you over breakfast, whenever I see a pretty item of jewelery, when I look out of my office window, when I touch my desk. I see you there, stretched out and eager for your spanking. I think about you when I pick up my briefcase, when I loosen my tie. All the time, Felicity. You’re always on my mind.”
She heard a rasp, sensed movement beside her. Had he put the candle down?
“I get overwhelmed by thoughts of you all the time.”
Another dribble landed at the top of her left breast and the drop turned into a stream that burned a trail down to just before her nipple. She clenched her teeth, expecting the burning to explode on her sensitive nub, but it didn’t. She relaxed.
“Another confession, Felicity. When I think of you, I get turned on.”
You can Pre-order Something Brave from Totally Bound now, Early download will be available on the 20th October exclusively at my publisher’s site and general release is the 17th November.

A Goobie Story
When we rescued Sadie, we also rescued her litter mate, Goober.
Goober was a puppy of beauty and he was also a mean little shit. He used to lay on his side and bark at his sister until you would look at him and yell, “Goobie! You’re barking!”
He could open doors. He knew that walks happened at 4 pm and when Julia was done with her nap. He was EXCEPTIONAL at letting J know her nap time was over.
One day he started coughing up blood, 7 1/2 hours later, he was gone from a massive congenital heart defect.
He was 18 months old.
Julia and I believe with all our hearts that he was put on this earth to remind us that joy can overcome pain and that sometimes you have to pick up the loud ones.
Every so often one of the bassets play with a basset we can’t see and someone calls out, “Hey Goobie! We love you!"
*grins*
Much love, y’all.

Sh*t BA Says: Cat Fur to Make Kitten Britches
*grins*
My mother said this to me for years before I figured it out. YEARS. (Yes, I was too dumb to get that she was trying to teach me to say “what FOR” instead of “whut fer”. I also didn’t understand what “don’t talk back to me” meant until the first time my child did it to me. Sue me.)
This conversation went like this:
“Baby, can you go get me the coffee out of the freezer?"
“What fer?"
*Moma stares* “Cat fur, to make kitten britches."
*grins*
For the longest time, I just assumed that meant if I didn’t hop to it, she was going to skin me and use me for clothes.
Much love, y’all.

Bull Riding 101: The Chutes
Today we’re going to chat on the chute. Why? Well, because the wife asked me to, and when your wife has a request that you can manage? You manage it. Not only that, but, well, they’re kinda important.
Quick and dirty definition:
The bucking chutes are stock pens where the bucking bulls are loaded so that the cowboys can get their riding gear on the critter and get on. The gate will swing open up into the rodeo arena to start the ride when the cowboy nods his head. These things can be permanent — think a rodeo arena that’s been around for a while where they do numerous events — or portable for traveling shows. Bucking chutes are a different thing than a stripping chute, which is where the bulls get the flank rope removed after their ride.

What’s it for:
Well, it holds a lot of sponsor signs, it holds a great big bucking bull, and it holds a cowboy straddling the back of said bull.
Now, y’all see those dark upside-down U-shaped parts over the chute rails? Those are chute pads. Why are they important?
Watch this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qczPn9ENw9w.Go ahead. I’ll wait.
Now, are those pads going to save your bacon every time?
Watch this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHduWwSXcxk
See?
Still, it’s important, and more important are the cowboys helping the rider — holding the rider’s vest from the back, supporting from the front.
What happens in the chute?
I can’t explain it better than this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZHmqZJCmqA (What? I’m a fan, not a professional. Besides, EYE CANDY!)
Why do we care?
I admit it. I spend 90% of my time at events watching the cowboys in the chutes. I want to see how they interact, I want to watch them work. I want to see all the ways they stretch. :D
If y’all have questions, feel free to give me a holler and leave a comment.
Much love, y’all.
