Raw Vengeance is close to being done

Editing is more demanding than I thought it'd be.  Getting rid of all of the grammatical quirks is challenging and time consuming.  Patience is something I wish I had more of but in the end I'm confident people will enjoy reading Raw Vengeance.

Help me think up a title for my short story!

Help me name my short story.  It's about a high school kid who is bullied by thugs in Chicago and seeks revenge.  This will be the first of the Rich Fordham series.  I hope to have it ready to read and download for FREE in Amazon and B&N this winter.  My full-length novel, Kingdom of Rage, will be available shortly after that.  Thanks

Challenging the status quo

For those of you viewing this blog for the first time you're probably wondering who the heck I am and why would you want to read my books.  I'm a young professional who is tired of the status quo and seeing our quality of life as middle-class citizens go from bad to miserable. Every day you hear stories from everyday folks about abysmal pay, horrible hours, and a corporate environment that shuns the efforts of people like myself that take great pride in their work.  The CEO's and politicians all scream "we're in a recession" or "you should be grateful to just have a job" while they're taking home massive bonuses and putting extra padding on their golden parachutes. This greed, this manipulation of power is the force that drives my writing.

What gets me going as well as the characters in my books is the amount of politics and spin on political issues.  Case in point: you may or may not agree with his politics but for this Karl Rove was a genius.  He's the best political salesman I've ever seen.  The point is, it's impossible to ever form an educated opinion because the information being fed to you has been passed through biased filters and spewed out the other end by people calling themselves experts.  Ever see two political experts on both sides of the fence agree on the same topic, even when it relates to facts that cannot be disputed?  If the experts can't agree how am I supposed to be informed enough to make well thought-out opinion?  Side with my political team like a majority of the lay public does?

That's where I come in;  I plan a series of political thrillers based on my protagonist Rich Fordham, and highlighting the politics and power structures of some of the most complex and least understood governments, cultures, and organizations and tell it to you in a story that is fast-paced, smart, raw, entertaining, escapist and will make you think.

Looking for 'stickys'

What will make you want to visit my blog on a regular basis and prevent your ADD from kicking in?  I'm trying to come up with ideas for people to 'stick' around and browse my blog, whether it be something interactive, entertaining, or even compelling- all within the scope of writing and fiction.  The idea of a forum of sorts came to mind but I don't want to moderate and I want to avoid drama.  Sudoku?  Crosswords?  Comics?  I can draw but not very well.  What has drawn you into other blogs?
