Two New Short eBooks out .
If anyone would like some free digital copies of my two new eBooks just out (details below) in exchange for an honest review. Then please do get in touch or send me a private message. Cheers.
The Comedian (Black-Comedy-Drama 14000 words)
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
Bill, an aging world-famous comedian, and his PA daughter arrive in Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival to receive his lifetime achievement award. Bill hasn’t been in the city for well over 40 years though and is soon haunted by memories of his wild and adventurous past there - including ghostly visions from a beautiful, but fiery and feisty, old Scottish girlfriend.
But why are they are no longer together and what actually happened to his first real love all those years ago?
The Letter - (Quirky-Edgy-Romantic-Black Comedy - 15000 words)
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
When a quirky, anti-social, young woman with a phobia of other people, falls for her handsome new neighbor in the tenement block of flats where she lives, it is left to her new and only friend, an eleven-year-old girl, to play matchmaker, in this black-humored, adult tale.
Cheers,

National 'Write a novel' Month
Since it's national 'Write a novel' month www.nanowrimo.org
I've abandoned work on my latest book and started working on this crazy idea for shits and giggles :)
There are many fancy restaurants...
There are many run down canteens...
But there is only one... Independence Cafe - with a twist :)
It's referendum day in Scotland. The 18th of September 2014.
It' also new chef, Richards, first day at work at the Edinburgh old town cafe. Where to his displeasure, he's already been left on his jack jones, to run the evening back shift by his new 'sex obsessed' boss Brian. With only student waitress Toni to assist.
Throughout the shift Toni and Richard are visited by many weird, wacky and humorous customers. Most of them out voting on Scotland's historical day. Some of them just in for a wee bleather and bit of banter. All of them though have their own crazy stories, antidotes and freaky situations which they've dragged into the cafe with them for shits and giggles.
For example at table one we have two young teenagers discussing the lengths some boys will go to get their sexual kicks when they don't have a sexual partner. Using various objects from empty beer bottles to cocktail sticks. Then there's the inevitable trips to the hospital that occurred afterwards.
At table two we have one young man trying to bribe the other into sleeping with his cheating whore mother.
While at table three and four we have a couple at their six month crisis point. While two eerie and suspicious characters lurk at the back, discussing the fate of man kind.
As we cut back and forth between the customers and the slowly blossoming relationship between the handsome Chef Richard and the pretty, yet fiery waitress Toni. A spanner is thrown into the works, when her ex boyfriend, now psycho obsessed stalker, unexpectedly turns up.
The final act sees a spooky power cut hitting the cafe, right on closing time. Spinning the final act and conclusion completely on its violent head. Just as the results of the Scottish referendum are announced.
So if you enjoy your average run of the mill stories like you enjoy a nice safe cup of coffee. Milk, with sugar. Now it's time to take it completely bitter black... with a wee pinch of salt for good measure.
Warning 'May contain bad language and crude Scots dialect' :)
You can find the first chapter here - http://nanowrimo.org/participants/sea...
Not too sure how the non Scots will find the accent thing though :) If any one wants to read more of this crazy nonsense lol then I'll happily send it along :)
