Ever After is Here! This is a new paranormal anthology with FIVE never before seen stories set in different paranormal worlds! My story is about Fawkes and Leslie from the Dante’s Circle world.  Ever After is an anthology with five new stories. Yep. They are all new. You haven’t read or seen them before. They are all part of series but written as such that you can dive right in without reading the other books in the series. Hopefully though you’ll want to anyway! LOL

My novella, His Choice, is part of my Dante’s Circle world. It’s set during the end of book 3 An Unlucky Moon and ends in the middle of book 4, Tangled Innocence. Hence why it’s called book 3.5. You don’t have to read the other books in the series but it’s always fun to anyway so you know all the little Easter eggs I put in. Fawkes and Leslie are two fan favorite side characters so I’m happy that I got a chance to write their story.

“Seriously?” Levi muttered under his breath to himself then punched the steering wheel when he pulled up to Faith’s place. He needed to stop acting like some forlorn teenager and get his head in the game. Things had changed, and he needed to change with them. Moping about it wasn’t going to help.

He quickly turned off the car and got out, taking in Faith’s small, single-family home. For some reason, he thought she’d want to live in an apartment in the city considering her line of work and what her friends had told him about her. Then he’d stopped by with Amara one day and recognized the place for what it was.

A solace. A comfort.

He hadn’t taken a step inside, but he’d been able to catch yet another glimpse of the life Faith had lived.

Of course, he wanted to put all of that behind him and start fresh. Things were starting to get muddled in his brain, and he didn’t know where the real woman who was forever attached to him ended and the fragments of memories from her friends began.

He gave a curt nod, and her anger warred with something much warmer, something she didn’t understand, in his eyes. “Once we return, I’ll do it. You can watch if you’d like.”

“I would.”

“Good. Now hold my hand and don’t let go.”

She did, his palm warm against hers.

He waved his hand in the air, and the hair on her arms rose. A swirling vortex of what could only be magic opened in her kitchen, and her mouth dropped open. Sure, she’d seen all types of truly inspiring magic since she’d found the truth about herself and her friends, but she’d never get used to it. At least she hoped she never would.

He looked over his shoulder, that devastating grin in place, and then tugged her with him. The vortex swallowed her, and the warmth and tingles of a magic she truly didn’t understand embraced her. Yay! I am SO excited about this series. I met Alexandra Ivy at Authors After Dark in August 2014 and the two of us hit it off. I was SUPER excited to meet her since she is one of the authors I adored when I first started reading and I even own all her books in print. I had been nervous coming up to her and saying hi. Only she came up to ME and said hi! Seriously. Such a humble, generous, and fantastic woman! Plus OMG she can write!

Anyway, on the Sunday of AAD we took a walk, ate some lunch, then went back to my room and ended up plotting out a dark, gritty, and very sexy paranormal romance series. Seriously. I’ve never plotted a series so quickly. It was as if our brains had been keeping this series in the back of our minds and once we talked BOOM, there it went. Each book actually has two stories with in so you get TWO HEAs in one! We are having a blast writing this series and I can’t wait for you to pick it up!

So what is the series about? Well imagine a world where shifters were in hiding, but were forced to come out. When a disease spread among the humans and almost wiped out their civilization, shifters came out of hiding to not only save the human race, but their own. In thanks for their sacrifice, humans threw the shifters in prisons on camps according to their species: Canine, Ursine, and Feline. The are forced to wear collars and are branded accordingly.

Its been 25 years since they were forced to live behind fences in fear. Now Alexandra Ivy and I get to take a closer look at these Alphas and other shifters and see how they can survive in captivity…and how they can find their freedom.
