Excerpt 1:

Death came in many forms, but in the end, the lack of breath, the lack of existence was all Caym craved.

Sometimes waiting was the only way to ensure the success of a well-laid plan. Sometimes death was the only way to give rebirth. The act itself would take a piece of him so far away, break it into so many pieces he’d never recover it. That didn’t matter though.

Maddox growled a bit but put his hands up. “Deal with it, Cailin. You’re on edge, and this isn’t the time to have your wolf weak because she’s not getting what she needs. We’re Pack animals, Cai. We need touch. We need that connection.”

She ignored the last part of his statement, concentrating on the part that dug deep. Cailin lifted her chin. “I’m not weak. Despite the fact that I don’t have a penis, which you Jamenson boys think one must have in order to be strong, I can and will fight for my Pack.”

And now I get to write a story with my Redwood Pack with them. Wicked Wolf happens 15 years after the end of Fighting Fate so if you’ve never read a Redwood Pack novel, you can start here easily. If you’re a fan already, you’ll know Gina from the earlier novels. She’s Mel and Kade’s adopted daughter. With Wicked Wolf, I get to write about the Redwoods and the Talons. This novella will be 15 years before the Talons so its a bridge between the two series to keep you on your seats. I DO plan on writing more of the Redwood Pack children and Gina is the first.
