Sandra Dutton grew up the daughter of Sunday school teachers in Ohio. She was as curious about the book of Genesis as she was about the fossils in her backyard. She says, “I wrote Mary Mae and the Gospel Truth for kids like me who love discovering things, whether in the Bible, the backyard, or a history book. I want them to have the courage to ask questions.”

Sandra Dutton’s books have been named to “Pick of the Lists” by American Bookseller, and featured in Publishers Weekly. She has a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition and her musical "Just a Matter of Time" was produced as an Equity Showcase at the Sage Theatre, Times Square, New York City.

Hudson Children’s Book Festival

I’ll be appearing at the Hudson Children’s Book Festival Saturday, May 4, 2013, from 10 am to 4 pm, at the Hudson Jr/Sr High School, 215 Harry Howard Avenue, Hudson.

The festival is FREE, with authors’ workshops, musical performances, and hundreds of books to look at.
