Dreaming of you (Chapter 6)
Chapter 6
Jake left.
Flew back to California. In the weeks that passed, we spoke on the phone almost
every day. He listened. He made me
laugh. But the intense urge to run away
from this man was starting to boil inside me. I was falling fast. And it scared
me. Scared me enough to push him away.
And then one
night. Josh was suddenly there.
It was past
midnight when I heard his car pull

Dreaming of You (Chapter 5)
Chapter 5
After two very competitive rounds of mini-golf (in which I
won both times), we decided to go back to my apartment and watch a movie. Elvis and Elizabeth sat next to each other on
the long sofa, leaving Jake and I to snuggle up together on the loveseat.
Jake pulled me against him, and I leaned my back against his
hard chest. He slung his arm over my shoulder and laced our

Dreaming of You (Chapter 4)
Chapter 4
“Hello?” I flipped open my cell
phone, confused and curious by the unknown number flashing on the screen. I was
sitting in a salon chair getting highlights put into my hair.
“Hi, Beautiful,” a familiar husky
voice answered. I had only heard it that
one night but somehow I had memorized it.
It was so deep, throaty and sexy. It did crazy things to my
insides. I felt my breath

Dreaming of You: Chapter Three
Chapter 3
The late morning orange glow of sunlight
was harsh against my still closed eyelids as it filtered in through my
window. I groaned, my head throbbing and
rolled away from the brightness, covering my head with my pillow. I
absentmindedly stretched out my hands feeling around my bed for the warm body I
somehow knew wouldn’t be there. I lifted
my head, peering around my empty room.

Dreaming of You: Chapter 2
Chapter 2
A few hours later, Lizzie and I were
pulling up to simple white brick house with soft music coming from the back
patio. We walked around through the back
gate where ten or twelve people we used to hang out with in high school were
all sitting around talking. Several bottles of beer littered the small glass
table they all sat around. Adam spotted
me immediately, his dark eyes

Chapter One (Dreaming of You)
Chapter 1
“So….have you talked to him?” Trisha glanced at me sideways while browsing
through the books on the shelf in front of her.
I sighed heavily, really not wanting to talk about this or him.
“Who?” I asked, cringing at my feeble attempt at casualness. Trisha turned and looked at me, her eyes
daring me to deny the pity party I’d been having for myself all week.
“You know who,”

This moment
This feeling
It's warm and steady
Peaceful
Full of magic
Like a midsummer's night
A perfect little dream

Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye
All
we do right, is make love
And
we both know now that ain’t enough
Ain’t
gonna beg you to stay, ain’t gotta ask you what’s wrong
Ain’t
no reason runnin after something already gone
Take
off your leaving dress
Let’s
do what we do best
I
guess everyone’s got their way of moving on

Sneak Peek
Excerpt From The Corollaria:
Emily paused outside Luke’s door, her
hand on the door knob. She sucked in a
deep lungful of air and tried to steel herself. She silently slipped into the
room.
There was just a small sliver of
moonlight that peeked through the windows. It fell across Luke’s back,
highlighting his tensed shoulders and hard muscles. Emily took another shaky
breath, as she stood
