Poppy's final adventure
Reed’s lips begin to trail down the side of my face, touching every inch of skin from my temple, across my cheek, over to my ear, down the side of my jaw, then to my chin. The progression is slow and sweet. As he does this, his arm around my waist tightens pulling me closer and closer to his warm body. His fingers, intertwined with mine flex as if he is trying to get closer to me there as well.
My body is on fire, my mind blank. The only thing I can think about is what it will feel like when Reed’s lips finally touch mine.
Will Poppy and Reed finally have that kiss? Or will disaster strike yet again?
Stay tuned for the release date of Poppy's final book in The Deadly Flowers Series and the ending to her story.

The beginning of the end...
I hear the scream before I have even cleared the woods. I do not bother to look at the others around me, I am sure they have heard it as well.
I just run.
As I do, I can sense the others following closely behind. We make it the rest of the way through the woods, up to the entrance of the Seelie Castle. As we enter through the already open doors, there is a blood curdling scream once again.
I glance at Reed; his face is set with a grim expression. I know that the same expression is mirrored by my own face, as well as Thorne and Holly’s. I also know that we are all probably thinking the same thing. We are too late. The information Holly was able to retrieve from torturing the Unseelie guard was false. We did not have three days to launch a counter attack against the Unseelie.
Damien is attacking the Seelie Court now.

Another Sneek Peek into the finale of The Deadly Flowers Series
"I slide my hand into his open palm, still nervous and shy when we are close like this. His warm hand wraps around my smaller fingers then he tugs me gently to my feet. My body is still a bit shaky so I stagger slightly when I stand. Ree
d pulls me closer to him, wrapping his other arm around my waist to steady me.
At least that is what I thought until his lips brush my forehead. The contact of his soft lips on my skin causes me to freeze. His arm is securely around my waist holding me so that our bodies are just brushing against each other. His other arm is down at our sides, his hand still holding mine. As his lips brush feather soft across my forehead, he moves his fingers in mine so that they become intertwined, each of my fingers between one of his. The act is so foreign to me, yet if feels exactly right."
Will Poppy and Reed finally get that kiss??? Or is something going to interrupt Poppy's life once again???
Find out when you get the final book in Poppy's story, coming Nov 2012!! And if you haven't read them yet, get caught up now!!

Sneak Peek :)
"The Unseelie Castle is nothing like that of the Seelie Castle. It reminds me very much of the castles humans tell their child of from fairy tales. The ones that the evil Queen or the wicked witch always lived in. Except this one was ruled by an evil King and now a wicked Fae and it is much, much worse than any thing any one of those human’s could have ever imagined.
This Castle is an imposing and ominous fortress. It is a huge structure, much larger than the King needed. It is made of brick stones, each appearing dark and aged. There are no windows to allow the light in, not that any of the Fae within would want that. There is a wooden draw bridge that lies across the only clear path to the Castle doors. The rest of the structure is surrounded by woody bramble bushes covered in razor sharp thorns, bearing not one piece of fruit like the human world’s bushes would. These bushes are the same as the ones that the King’s throne was made of. They slither and quiver just as those did as well. They are breathing and thriving, waiting for an unsuspecting Fae to stumble in them. With only one drop of blood, which the thorns are sure to extract, they would devour the Fae just as they did Rho and the King..."

Excerpt from Poppy
“Not so tough now, are you?” She grinds out between clenched teeth as she leans closer to my face. Blood is dripping from her lip, nose, and a nasty gash on her cheek. I can feel it dropping on to my face and throat. It is disgusting. She has bruises already in full bloom all over her face and it appears she is missing a small amount of her hair.
Although my vision is beginning to fade and I am growing weak, I still manage to grin up at her. I feel a small amount of satisfaction in knowing that I put up the best fight I was able to. Her recovery will be slow and painful and she will be reminded of the pain I inflicted upon her as she heals.
“You think this is funny?” she snarls, “I’m going to kill you.”
“I don’t think so.” I hear suddenly from behind her.
She turns her head around, but does not release the pressure on my neck. I see Reed running up behind her, dagger in one hand and one of the deadliest looks on his face that I have ever seen. I can see the intent in his eyes and a wave of fear runs through me. Reed is intuitive, smart, and extremely strong; unfortunately he is still half human. Without the proper training, a Halfling is never a match for a full Fae, especially one trained as a Warrior.
“No! Reed, No!” I try to scream, but it comes out as a barely strangled whisper because of the hands still locked tightly around my throat.
Reed races up behind her to try and help me. The other Faery lashes out with all of her strength and knocks him away. He flies back a few feet and is slammed into a tree. I see his head slam back forcefully into the tree and hear a loud crack at the connection. Then I watch in horror as he slumps to the ground, unmoving. A small trickle a blood begins to seep out of his nose.
