Sorry :(
Okay so we are still trying to get the hang of all this. Blogging obviously is pretty low on our priority list and I am so sorry about that!! It's amazing how I can sit down and write thousands and thousands of words at a time with out coming up for a breath, but when it's time to write a blog...words seem to fail me. Poppy:Revealed is out and we are soooo happy with the results and feedback so far (But still feel free to rate it or post a review on here and amazon ;), those are always appreciated) and really excited to be starting on the final book. We are also working on two other projects. One is similar to Poppy's story, but the other is very different. Hopefully they will be liked!! I'm very nervous about this!!
Thanks so much to everyone for all of your support and kind words!! Stay tuned for whats to come :)

June 12th
June 12th is the day!!! The third book of The Deadly Flowers Series will be available on Kindle!!
I am so excited and really looking forward to all of your thoughts once you have read it. There will be one more book after that and then Poppy's store will have been told.
It is a bit bitter-sweet. I have really come to love all of my characters in the series and as excited as I am to finally see what happens with them, I am equally sad to see it all end.
I am getting ready to put pen to paper so that I may begin to tell the final chapters of their adventurous lives, and I find myself wondering how it all will end.
I hope you all are as equally excited to see how the story will unfold!!
As always, thanks so much for all of your support and kind words.

Something a little more personal.
After self publishing my first book Poppy on Amazon Kindle exclusively I was faced with a daunting task: Get people to buy the book. I took some fairly easy steps such as setting up a Twitter account, Facebook account and a GoodReads account. When I realized that one of my first Twitter followers was an author I gushed with enthusiasm. I thought to myself, “This is it, a real-live author likes me and then we will become friends and she will recommend me to her agent….” Yeah, not so much.
While social networking is clearly an important step for self published authors, I never realized how many of us there are out there. I found myself a little discouraged, realizing that my Twitter posts were basically being drowned out by others with the same goals as mine. I found it hard to interact with people because it was difficult to respond to what was basically an advertisement. And it was hard to keep up. For every one post I would try and respond to, eight new tweets had arrived on my feed.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think it is a bad thing to advertise you and your product. There are a lot of influential people floating around on Twitter, and maybe if the right person at the right time sees your post they will contact you. But I also think it is important to realize that even though you are competing for the same prize, we are all in the same boat. Take a minute to reach out to a new writer or a new blogger. I guarantee they will not forget that you took a moment to say hello. And the truth of the matter is, maybe they will end up being your elusive golden ticket. Maybe they will end up with an agent and say…”Hey, you know I have this friend…”

Reading and writing
Trying to stay focused on my work and making amazing progress! So excited!!! But also trying to stay up to date on my reading. It's nice to take a break with a good book :)
I know the latest is 50 shades of grey, read it and didn't like it. I know, I know. Everyone else does, but I just didn't see the appeal. What did I miss???
Now I need something new and GOOD!!
Any recommendations??
As always, thanks for the support :D
