Ah . . . Vermont

I’ve managed to learn quite a lot about Vermont and New England history because of the Soup Lover’s Mysteries.  But if history fascinates you, check out my stop at Melissa LaPierre’s blog about some weird facts about how Vermont got its state lines!

Kim is hosting me today at Cinnamon, Sugar and a Little Bit of Murder, and has even made a video about making my cream of asparagus soup!  So clever of her!

Let’s Celebrate!

I’m very excited that A Clue in the Stew (available for pre-order now), the fifth book in the Soup Lover’s Mystery series, is about to hit the bookshelves, literally and digitally on April 5, 2016!

Village.Steeples The village of Snowflake, Vermont is buzzing with excitement. Hilary Stone, the famous author of Murder Comes Calling, is planning a visit.  Even the discovery of the body of an unidentified woman strangled in the woods hasn’t dampened the spirits of Snowflake’s avid mystery fans — that is, until the villagers learn the murder mimics the popular novel.  Could the killer be a deranged fan hoping for attention?  Or is a copycat killer on the loose?

To celebrate the release of A Clue in the Stew, starting today, March 14, 2016, and ending at midnight (PST) on April 4, 2016, I’m offering three different giveaways.  And each giveaway will include an autographed copy of A Clue in the Stew.

Crock Pot

Count ’em, three!  And all giveaways are related to soup!  The first is a fantastic six quart crockpot, perfect for slow cooking soups.

Soup Bowls

The second giveaway is a set of delightful soup bowls

And the third is a Crock Lunch Food Warmer great for transporting soups (and other things) to work or anyplace else.

Lunch warmerAll you have to do to enter the giveaway is to leave a comment here, on my blog, between March 14th and midnight, April 4, 2016 (PST), with your email address, letting me know if you have a preference for any of the giveaways.  If not, that’s fine too.  I will use random.org to pick the three winners on April 5th, release day.  No entry will be excluded.  Don’t forget to leave your email address so I can contact you if you’re a winner!

ClueInTheStew_coverI really hope you’ll join in the fun and help me celebrate the release of A Cue in the Stew!

Good luck to all!
