A Light in the Darkness (Part IV)
Today I will be discussing apostrophes. Yes, those little ' marks, those things that seem to pop up without rhyme or reason.
Actually, there is a very good reason for them. They stand for missing letters. They are used in contractions, such as “isn't”, “wasn't”, or “won't”. In those cases the apostrophe shows that letters have been taken out of the word. “Is not” has been squished

Today is Release Day!
...for The Twelve Naughty Princesses.
This is a story we whipped out in two days, one of which we sat in a cafe with a laptop and just took turns writing. We were on fire and had no problem throwing this one together -- we just hope it doesn't read thrown together! :)
We hope you enjoy this erotic twist on a classic fairy tale!

Oops!
Hello, friends and fans!Going through edits for our upcoming new release, we realized something shocking! All this time, we've just assumed people already knew that all our novels take place in the same fantasy world and are (somewhat) connected! Oops, I guess we should have been clearer on that point. Anyway, there it is. If you want a quality fantasy series from an original world with romance

Danica Avet's "Immortal Love"
I do a lot of editing for Evernight, and I enjoy working with all my authors. Danica Avet is one of my favorites, and I love the premise of this story. I've always been a fan of the Olympians, and if you want to read an interesting twist on the Greek myths we all know and love, read on!

Doris O'Connor's "Riding Her Tiger"
We're pleased to have Evernight's own Doris O'Connor with us here today! Got heaps of respect for her and all she does, both on an off the page. Today she is talking with us about Inspiration...
Sometimes Inspiration comes along out nowhere and hits you straight in the gut, and before you know it you're writing a story you had no intention of writing the day before. That is pretty much

A Light in the Darkness (Part III)
This week's candle is in answer to Caitlin Ray's request, and I am more than happy to be able to explain this point. Both "that" and "which" are used to introduce subordinate clauses, and this can lead to a bit of confusion. The difference, however, is simple once explained."That" is used for restrictive clauses, and "which" is used for non-restrictive clauses. The easiest way to understand this
