Bio: From the time she learned to read to the present, Liz has always had a fascination with books. As a child she remembers reading Little Golden Books instead of napping. And, oh, the first time she read a romance – The Thornbirds – she was hooked. She ate up the SuperRomances on the shelves of her aunt’s used bookstore, borrowed her grandmother’s Boons and Mills Medical Romances (loved those nurses’ caps) and snuck her dad’s westerns so she could read the “romantic parts” (which lasted about a page). She inhales books, no doubt about it.
Of course, it never occurred to her to write one until her college roommate said, “You read so many of those things, why don’t you write one?” The idea stuck and several years ago she did it! Instead of just reading those SuperRomances, she’s writing them.
Liz serves as President of NOLA Stars and also blogs on the 2009 Golden Heart blog – http://www.rubyslippersisterhood.com. She loves strawberries, fishing, retail therapy (especially at Target), and she’s a Virgo. Liz married her high school sweetheart and has two smart, beautiful boys. When not writing contemporary romances and still editing her historicals, she is usually found working in the flowerbeds or doing laundry.

Bio: As a child, award-winning author Kim Law cultivated a love for chocolate, anything purple, and creative writing. She penned her debut work, “The Gigantic Talking Raisin,” in the sixth grade and got hooked on the delights of creating stories. Before settling into the writing life, however, she earned a college degree in mathematics and then worked as a computer programmer—for far too many years. Now she’s pursuing her lifelong dream of writing romance novels. She has won the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart Award, has been a finalist for the prestigious RWA RITA Award, and has served in varied positions for her local RWA chapter. A native of Kentucky, Kim lives with her husband and an assortment of animals in Middle Tennessee.

I have a basket in Club RT you might win! Here’s what’s in there…The Montgomery family met this weekend and put together an awesome basket that would represent each couple. From Olivia and Mitch, they donated the cowboy hat that Olivia wore when she was rodeo queen along with a print copy of Texas Two Step, their love story. Travis Montgomery and his wife, Caroline, donated a special coffee mug and a bag of coffee. KC Montgomery Gentry and her husband, Drake, brought back some beautiful handmade lace seashells from their vacation to The Sand Castle Resort. Cash Montgomery and his love, Paige, donated a buckle ring as buckles are special to them. Author, Cynthia D’Alba, has donated a tote bag designed just for this event to carry all your loot.
PLUS if you come to see in at Club RT, I’ll have 2 special RT tote bags. One winner per Club RT session. These won’t be in promo alley. However, I do have a spot in promo alley where you can get postcards, pens, jar openers, notepads, etc.
AND if you come see me at Club RT, I have SPECIAL PENS with a stylus that aren’t available in promo alley either!

ABOUT PARKER KINCADE
I live in a small town in the South and am surrounded by the best friends a girl could ask for, as well as a family who supports my writing habit without hesitation.
When I’m not sitting at my laptop desperately trying to shush the voices in my head, I usually have my nose stuck in a book or have loud music playing while I create a fun new recipe in the kitchen. No matter what I’m doing, I’m usually flanked by my Boxer, who I absolutely adore.
I’ve been writing since I was a young girl. My beloved stepmother, who always said I was a hopeless romantic, introduced me to romance novels when I was in my early teens. I remember that first book, which I still read once a year, and I think every man I have ever met has been measured, in some form or fashion, with the hero from that story.
That’s the power of a good romance. It turns us on, makes us laugh, makes us cry…it feeds our soul.
Oh, how the times have changed from those early swashbucklers! Nowadays, bookstores are full with an abundance of alpha males and the women who can stand toe-to-toe with them and take them down. And I love every gun-toting sword-wielding sports playing DNA altered vampire shape-shifting demon on the shelf.
I’ll admit I’m a huge book junkie. At my house, deciding what I’m going to read next is a little like shopping at the bookstore! So many to choose from, and I just keep buying them.
