Happy New Year!

I can hardly believe it’s 2022 already, can you? I hope you had a tremendous holiday season and enjoyed ringing in the New Year with those closest to you.

For me, the last month has been a little different as I decided to get away from the construction zone my house had became (water leaks in the basement! Yuck.) and spirit myself off to River House.

As a writer, I’ve never gone off on my own to work on a book before. But I gotta say, looking after myself in this way has been eye opening. I’ve spent a month by the water, sitting in the sunroom, just me, myself and my characters, working to finish writing FURY OF ISOLATION. And may I just say…

It’s been fabulous!

I’m so grateful to my Hubby for holding down the fort at home while I took the time I needed to write THE END, ’cause…gang, you’d better get ready!

Rannock and Cate’s story is going to blow your mind.

The pair took me on a wild ride, showing me new things, cracking open mysteries in need of solving, making me curious about worlds beyond the one Dragonkind inhabits. I love Rannock and Cate for many reasons—their unbreakable bond first among them—but their journey took me on one of my own, introducing me to a supernatural creature with interesting origins and a whole lot of firepower. A group I will definitely be writing about in the future. So…

I can hardly believe Christmas is just around the corner. October flew past. November whipped on through, and now, I’m scrambling to get ready for the holidays.

If you’re like me, I’ve got lists on top of lists, trying to make sure everything gets done. The Christmas tree’s up and decorated. The presents are all bought (if not yet wrapped). And time in the kitchen baking my kid’s favorite desserts (while I try not to eat any!) is just around the corner.
