Dragon Tip Tuesday Milestone: Tip #40!
It’s Tuesday once again. And guess what? We’re hitting a milestone today with the 40th dragon tip. Wow! Really? Already? Oh how the Dragon Tips fly when you’re having fun!
Tip #40 – Never ask a dragon to blow out the candles. You’ll get more than you bargained for. Piles of melted wax…check. A crispy birthday cake…double check. Third degree burns…you betcha. So be smart. Avoid the debacle altogether and serve him flaming ice cream instead. The b-day guests–along with the Fire Department–will thank you.

RT Book Reviews gives FURY OF DESIRE 4 1/2 Stars!
I’m so psyched! I love RT Book Reviews, so when I cracked open the October issue this morning and saw that Fury of Desire (Dragonfury series, book 4) received a 4 1/2 STAR review…with a HOT rating!…I squealed in delight. All right, I may have indulged in a fit of happy dancing too. But honestly, can you blame me? I’ve been a fan of RT for so long, it feels fantastic to be featured in their magazine.
I’m so excited about Fury of Desire (Wick and J.J.’s story), releasing this October 15th, and love that RT is too. Such an incredible compliment! Here is a just smidgeon of what the reviewer had to say about FoD:
“Action, adventure and a sassy attitude light up this fabulous take on the classic battle of good vs. evil. I love Tuesdays! It means I get to share another Dragon Tip with you. So much fun. Today, it’s all about Forge and his fire-acid exhale. So without further ado…
Tip #39 – Got the hots for your friendly neighborhood Acid Dragon? Sure, invite him to dinner, but don’t feed him anything spicy. One sneeze, and your table will be toast, not to mention…ah, hell, just have the Fire Department on speed dial. You’re going to need them along with a new addition on the back of your house.
(Yes, his acid-filled exhale really is that potent. And if Forge is in the mix, he’ll set everything on fire too! A nasty combination with devastraing results.)

Tuesday comes around so quickly, doesn’t it? And yes, we all know what that means…Dragon Tip Tuesday, here again!
Tip #38 – Always mind your p’s & q’s with a frost dragon. Unless, of course, you want the thrill of a chill and imprisonment courtesy of a cryogenic deep freeze.
And there you have it. So be very nice to Rikar, if you ever meet him. He’s an uber-hot handful on a good day! But on a bad one…
Well, I’ll leave you to imagine all the cyrogenic possiblities!

Meteor Shower, anyone?
This is so great, I just couldn’t resist sharing it. The Perseid Meteor Shower is on its way. And guess what? No matter where you live around the world, you’ll be able to see it! So get out your calenders. X marks the spot from August 10th to 13th! I’ll be star gazing for sure. Maybe you and I will be looking up at the same sky at the same time that night. Worldwide connectivity via nature. Pretty cool, don’t you think?

A Place with a View
The view as I write this morning. Loving my picnic table set up. No one but the birds are up and the stillness is captivating. I love being lakeside more than anything. Especially when it’s quiet and I get unterrupted writing time!

Tip #36 – Dragons love music. It soothes them. It pumps them up. It seduces them…especially when they encounter the sexy rockstar type. So break out the leather, ladies. Go for that a smoky eye effect. Get in some hardcore…and you’ll get a shitload from him.
