You can now pre-order Dead Run!

Dear readers,

I know many of you are wondering when Dead Run, my Post-apocalyptic Romance, is releasing so I wanted to write this post to fill you in on what’s been going on. Originally, I intended to publish it shortly after the Darlings of Decay anthology released, but because of personal reasons I’ve prolonged its publication more than I originally intended to.

I wanted to write this post to explain to you all that I DO plan on publishing Dead Run. Although it is outside of the genre that I’m currently writing in, that hasn’t dwindled my affection and enthusiasm for this story. I love post-apocalyptic stories almost as much as I love erotica. In fact, it’s what got me interested in writing. I’m super excited to see what you guys think of Dead Run because it mixes two things that I love – Romance & Zombies. ;)

So with that said,  I’m happy to announce that Amazon pre-order links for Dead Run are officially live! Yes, it will be published on B&N.com but I won’t have purchase links until the book is released October 31st.

Happy Release Day: Bound to You: Volume 3

Hello lovelies,

Happy Release Day! Yay!

I’m getting a lot of when will Bound to You: Volume 3 be up? I don’t have a firm answer. It can take anywhere between 12 hours or more. I uploaded it late last night (PST). It is coming! The date hasn’t changed. It just might take a while for the book to go “live!”

So with that said, I’m asking for your patience. I know you’ve waited a long time to read volume 3 and I’m just as anxious for you to read it, but for now it’s out of my hands. I will be stalking Amazon & B&N until it’s up and I will post the links here as soon as it goes live.

For those who use Smashwords, I can tell you that the epub version for Nook, Kobo, Sony Reader is up. I’m working on getting the mobi (Kindle) version up there too.

Release Date for Volume 3 Changed to August 16th

Hello my lovely readers,

I just wanted to update you all that the release date for Bound to You: Volume 3 is being pushed back to August 16th. I know it sucks major monkey balls, but I had to push it back because I recently lost some of my work. Unfortunately, I had to rewrite a good chunk of Volume 3 and there was no way I was going to finish and have everything edited in time for the 2nd, so I made the decision to change the release date. I’m sorry to those of you who have been patiently & impatiently waiting for Volume 3. Believe me when I say, I want this thing finished. Not because I don’t love the story, but because it’s stressful as hell when people are waiting on you. It has done horrid things for my health. 

I can happily tell you that Volume 3 is the longest volume and you will find a surprise at the end of the book. It’s something that I haven’t announce yet, but it’s definitely in the works of happening. ;) I think you guys will be excited about it too. 

That’s it for me. I hope you guys have a wonderful day and try not to hate me too much because I really love all of you!

With that said, I leave you with a teaser a friend of mine made for Volume 3. :)

Why I’m Okay With Making You Wait…

I am not a cruel person.

I do not enjoy making people wait for my stories but with that said, I am okay with it.

In this digital age, many of us want instant gratification. We want to be able to read the next book or see the next movie/TV show the second, minute, hour, or day after we’ve read or watched the first. Who hasn’t done a back-to-back marathon of an entire season of a TV show? (I totes did this with Downton Abbey). And then immediately after, we whine and complain about having to wait a whole week before watching the next Game of Thrones episode or months for the next The Walking Dead season. We want things immediately. And you know what? I understand, I’ve been there (who hasn’t?), but I also think that we’ve sort of lost the art of enjoying the anticipation.

Something can be said about the feeling of anticipation. It leaves you with a mixture of pleasure, anxiety, and excitement.

You know, the same feeling you get when you’re going to go on a first date but your eight hour work day has never felt so long, or the feeling you get when you’re planning a future vacation and it can’t be here soon enough, or even the feeling you get waiting for the work week to end so you can party the weekend away.

Sure, waiting sucks but when you finally get to enjoy that first date, well deserved vacation, or your weekend – it’s worth it.

And that’s how I am going to think about this final volume of Bound to You. I know if you really loved the story, you’ll wait. Because you know what? Any good story is worth waiting for. And I want Volume 3 to be the best story it can be. Trust in me.

Enjoy the anticipation. Ride the wave. Because Volume 3 will be here before you know it.

In preparation for the release of Volume 2, I’ve decided to do a promotion on Amazon for Volume 1. It will be free from 6/5 – 6/6. If you haven’t read volume 1, be sure to pick it up before it goes back to being 99c. It goes back up on Saturday! 

The second thing I wanted to talk about is the length of Volume 2. I just want you guys to know that I listened. Volume 2 is a good amount longer than the first and I really think you’ll be happy with it.

I am beginning to work on Volume 3 which will be the last volume to this story arc. While that makes me a little sad, I’m thrilled that so many people have enjoyed Rebecca and Nicholas. Don’t be surprised if you see them in another story. ;)
