Both the Americans and the Russians think Victoria works for them exclusively. In truth; the Pack, an International Crime Syndicate, brutally controls her while they launder money in America by buying distressed houses for terrorist sleepers. While she executes the perfect escape, staging her death during a shark attack, she makes one mistake—she meets Royce, who worked as a special operative several years earlier, the night before disappearing.
Royce, on the other hand, wants nothing to do with any American led special operations after he had been lied to in order to keep him focus on his prior mission. His girlfriend had been abducted and brutally murdered earlier while they had kept him in the dark. The last thing he had ever expected was another woman in his life, especially a Russian spy. Furthermore, he never would have believed that she would be the one thing that would encourage him to finish a mission that he should have taken care of the first time.
Royce is well trained on how to discover the truth, so although Victoria’s apparent shark attack was well conceived he knows better. He had used the life of a surfer bum for years as his cover. The more lies he uncovers, the more suspicious he becomes until finally he feels like he has little choice. His prior operation was so top secret even the CIA were told nothing He didn’t need them then, and he sure the hell didn’t need them this time either. The last time it was for country—this time it was going to be personal.

It might also have helped to know that this want-to-be writer
is bi-polar.
However, she is not the one to be feared most by this agent.
For her anger and zest in destroying his career has created a copycat, a serial killer with a new target--literary agents.
When a serial killer stalks literary agents, and brutally
kills them, the world of publishing panics with fear as the FBI hunts for the cold blooded killer, wondering what could cause a person to become such a monster?
To someone else, the rejection letter might be perceived as
a simple piece of correspondence. But when Amy, who suffers from bipolar disorder receives a form rejection letter from Edward, an agent she had an affair with at a recent convention, she takes the rejection as both personal and professional--in short--a declaration of war.
Amy quickly embarks on a plan to get revenge by destroying
Edward's literary agency, but Amy is soon not the one to be feared the most. Her actions create a copycat, a serial killer, who targets literary agents and viciously murders them.
Living with the knowledge she has created a monster, a serial killer, is one thing, while doing nothing to stop the madness is another. But how could she track down a killer when she has no training in such? Thinking like a mad man might be the only
way--but could she go there and survive herself? When the winds of fate, however, rekindle the romance with Edward, thus making him the next target--she really has no choice but to help the FBI before it is too late

back into the company business, but he had to keep the connection to his
grandfather a secret to avoid a scandal that could ruin the company.
As Shawn helps Kristina to make the right decision for the
baby, he hunts for the rapist. Since most of the men on the cruise where older
men and members of the board of directors, Shawn has to proceed cautiously.
That is, until the threats become violent and her life comes in danger. If the
rapist can't convince her to have an abortion, he planned to have her killed.
Time was now of the essence in finding out who this was.
