R.G. Green grew up listening to the continuous tap of a typewriter as her dad threw out page after page of captivating stories, giving root to her love of books and her absolute fascination with writing. Now older, with marriage, overseas living, and a host of wonderful experiences under her belt, the self-proclaimed book fiend has finally settled down enough to give the writing bug its due. Currently living in a small mountain town where peaceful quiet is the norm, R.G. Green now spends her time away from her day job doing the things she loves the most: reading, writing, and spoiling the two barking, fuzzy critters who can make her laugh no matter what.

Aimee Nicole Walker's Zero Hour is right up there too - I haven't read any of the series yet, but third book of the trilogy will be out next month and I so can't wait! And another that is super high on my list: Haley Turner's A Vigil in the Mourning. It's book 4 of the Soulbound series, and it you haven't started it yet, let me tell you - it's awesome!(less)

Melissa Scott's Points series is one of my all-time favorites, as is Gregory…moreIt would be somewhere in Victorian London, or alternate-Victorian London. Melissa Scott's Points series is one of my all-time favorites, as is Gregory Harris's Colin Pendragon series, and Charlie Cochrane's Lessons series. Something about that time period just really appeals to me - of course, this is also due to the vivid, extremely visual way these authors portray these worlds. The old-world nature of it just amazing!(less)
