Critique and the Critic!

Oh let’s face it, the arena of life is filled with critics regardless of what profession, or walk of life you're from. Everyone has a say, which really belongs to the person who's critiquing whatever it is they're reading, working on, or just want to chime in on something other than their own. Projecting evaluations of another’s work isn’t the last say, it's only one person’s say! It doesn’t mean it’s a definitive, or a means to sway others in any direction whatsoever. It's merely just input, giving direction of sorts to either, better oneself in the area of expertise of your work, or just trying to give a personal perspective on their very own liking of whatever it is you're doing or have done.

It's a blessing in disguise really when you think of it, for it lends the credence of you and in saying so; they're taking notice of you. Good or bad, a critique is still “Good”, as it's the benchmark for you to work at understanding the fact, not everyone will like, or achieve that same result as many others who might agree, or even disagree with what's being evaluated.

Never walk away from a Critic’s view point, for remember, it’s only one view point that actually is constructive criticism and you can draw from that. Once again, no one critique will be the same as the other, thus, you, as the subject of the inquisition, have an opportunity to utilize all aspects of what's being said. A personal point of view has its merits and then again, that's all it is, a personal point of view. Remember, the critic, is only as good as his/her critique, which gives you the upper hand in the first place. Always look at it through rose colored glasses, as well as a glass half full!

Something’s in life are non- negotiable!

The men/women who Aspire to Inspire, have sat in situations where they've listened only to reach out to another, giving hope and aspirations for their dreams, so they too, can one day do the same.

Dreams, the ideas of notions that flutter around in one’s mindset that give color to many aspects, which drives the heart to create, to be the creator, the inventor of Aspiration. A child sits and daydreams of far off distant places, with many different scenarios that are part of their youth, those around them, and perhaps some new friends they imagine. The innocence of creativity is the foundation to us all, the love of inventing making things come true, or at best, the start of something to come.

Putting pen to paper is one of the most beautiful creative ways to express your ideas, dreams, or maybe that long awaited thought you just had to get down in writing. It cascades you into a realm of many different places, people, adventures and to think, what an escape it is, as you lustfully crave more and more of this pleasant place to be.

Sharing all this with many is, but a treasure of many troves and bliss of something no one can ever take from you. This is something in life that's non-negotiable, for it's from you, about you, it's part of you and no one owns that!

Calling it like it is!

In all the years of working within the Paranormal Field and Spiritual Realm, the encounters have been many, as I've visited places not only within North America, but that of Europe as well. I've had the fortunate side of things come to fruition working with many integral individuals within both fields of work and thus while doing so, have not only learned much, but taught much as well. Decades of sophistication one might say, yet it’s just something one lives in the life of a day, as they continue to do this type of work.

Enter the mainstream media and the roles it plays, for there was a time things of this nature were so unheard of, or they were shunned by society as a whole. We still see this, as ignorance is bliss one might say, though in the hindsight of those who are so subsided in not wanting to know, they creep out of their closet once in a while, plug in a horror movie, a paranormal movie, something Sci-Fi in any respect and then crawl back into the closet to yet deny any interception of their own daily living, putting up those blinders, to which they walk blindly along.

Forging ahead, regardless of what some might call as Satanic, Evil doings. Yet, those who speak so loudly, are actually Hypocrites in plain sight. There's always going to be the little notion of wanting to know, wanting to see, wanting to encounter something, anything, just to validate one’s own curiosity, or validate what they've been going through in life, but they ignore it as “coincidence!” Oh take heed people, the end is not near, there's no fire depths of hell that'll consume you, nor is there any fifty lashes to be had because you seek only what's right and that of the daily living of every single human being on this planet.

Living Paranormal, is just as it says, LIVING PARANORMAL! Things of the unexplained one might encounter that either need explaining, or they have their own personal context to it. EVERYONE has some form of communication, encounter, or “coincidental” happening. Let’s face it, there is going to be those who oppose what I'm saying today, but you know what. WHO CARES! To each his or her own, and that's a good way to put it, for I personally, and I know you who are reading this don’t condemn them who speak out so loudly, we just look at what's being presented and let the facts fall where they may. Again, let’s face it, when this is all said and done, the day of reckoning comes calling, even those who are so opposed to LIVING PARANORMAL, will then have their own encounter and that my friends is the end of this story. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

Parasylum (Excerpt on Goodreads)

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16...

"Thankfully we have never investigated a place as haunted as Parasylum! I think if we ever did, I would run. Run as far away as I possibly could and never look back over my shoulder."
-Michael Lamport, Award Winning Film Producer, Lamport & Sheppard Entertainment

A team of inexperienced paranormal investigators find themselves involved in the deepest darkest recesses of the unknown when they enter into Grandview's Asylum. The souls of yesteryear seek revenge on whomever enter into the abyss of no return. The horrors are plenty with many twists and turns and an ending that will keep you shaking your head. Enter into the mindscape where a dream turns into a nightmare and the nightmare is your reality.

The mind is a complex yet simple frame to be in. We travel many different corridors to understanding, which at some point we become enlightened to what it is that plagues us. Enter the mindscape that transforms dreams into nightmares and nightmares into reality. The way we perceive life is only a perception with some, who share in the illusion of disillusionment. We create the path in which we walk, yet the trail upon which one steps could very well be a story that is never ending. Welcome to Parasylum, where what may seem impossible is possible and what might seem sinister is just plain evil!

Anchored in the subjective mindset, he relinquishes his will to the inevitable. Everything seems to be of a set memory, glimpses from the past, forged into the now, leaving only the permeated sense of nothingness. Hung like a ragdoll in abject misery, the echoes of many shake the very foundation upon which the hallowed grounds cry. He closes his eyes, only to recount once more, everything over, and over again. There's no escaping this torture from within, welcome to your Nightmare!

Paranormal Encounters

Paranormal Encounters is a comprehensive look into two critically acclaimed hit movies I have appeared in. It also includes many historical very active places throughout North America I have investigated over many years of being in the Paranormal Field. You will find yourself engulfed into the many aspects of Paranormal investigations (encounters), as you travel to many places in your mind reading about all the outrageous encounters that have taken place. Paranormal Encounters back in 2010 hit #2 on the best sellers list and continues today to be a great read. You will recognize some of the integral individuals I have worked with who are written within the pages from either television or film. We travel to such places as Perryville Battlefield in Kentucky to Manteno State Hospital in Illinois to Al Capone’s Speakeasy. Filming was great, the investigations were over the top, but what happened afterwards, well there is a special chapter for that in the book with Photos. Enjoy!

"The books is great!.. I really did enjoy reading it, this is excellent." - Barrie John, Award Winning Psychic Television Personality, England

"I thoroughly enjoyed reading Paranormal Encounters by Robbie Thomas! Thomas does an excellent job of taking the reader behind the scenes of his ghostly investigations & well documented spine-tingling journeys into the supernatural. If you have an affinity for the paranormal or just a passing curiosity about spirits then Paranormal Encounters is a true paranormal pleasure!" -Wendy Price, Summerfield. FL

"One reason this book is unique in that for the very first time actual communications from numerous spirits have been simultaneously recorded both on audiotapes and film at the same, exact time as Robbie Thomas translated what the spirits were saying to him. Now I am a believer both in Robbie Thomas' exceptional gift from God and the fact that the dead can talk to us at will." -Gloria Shepherd, Award Winning Screen Writer/Author

"Paranormal Encounters" is by far one of the most comprehensive and rationally thought out books I have come across in all of my years of research. The methodology and insight that Robbie provides is a must for anyone, the professional researcher or anyone who just love a good ghost story with validity to back everything up! AMAZING!" -Michael Esposito - EVP Researcher/..Paranormal Investigator

"Paranormal Encounters is well worth reading and including in your paranormal library. It is 195 pages of information and enlightenment into the spirit world and someone who can see and hear what most of us can only wonder about. Although *Ghost* was only a Hollywood representation of fictional characters, Robbie Thomas and Paranormal Encounters is the real deal!" -Drs. Parasylum The Horror/Thriller Book (Coming Halloween 2012)

"As gripping as it is terrifying, Parasylum cements 'Thomas' as 'THE' author in horror to keep your eye on!"...Horror Fix Magazine

The decay of decadence becomes reality, as his soul trembles from the fear it absorbs. The lustful desire for normalcy, is but a dream within the nightmare, leaving him transparently vulnerable to those who cry out with thirst.
The craving to consume his very being is a delight of delicacy, which thrives on the hunger going deeper into despair. The darkness requests his presence, to devour him with anguish and pain. There’s no turning back once he’s opened the door of no return. There’s only pain and misery, his new acquaintances who’ll forever be by his side. He closes his eyes, only to recount once more, everything over, and over again. There’s no escaping this torture from within, welcome to your Nightmare!
Parasylum, was made into a movie scriot in 2009, which great directors read it loved it and wanted to shoot it. I decided I wanted the book version to come out before, then, the trilogy was born. This is the first of three in the Horror series that have critics loving it. One of those Directors worked on "IT" with Stephen King! Here are a couple Critic Reviews to entice you as you take the journey into Parasylum! IT’S COMING HALLOWEEN, EVERYWHERE! ENTER IF YOU DARE!!!!

Time Shift The Paradigm

During the making of the movie script by the same name, I made several inclusions of notation. That of, posts on facebook, the script itself, collaboration with a movie producer, all of which contained what was about to happen (in the movie of course). Funny thing happened along the way one could say... Everything I mentioned days prior to actually did occur! 9.0 - TSUNAMI - Black Abyss and more. March 2nd 2011 first entry on facebook page, March 10th second entry plus collaboration phone call with movie producer about including the 9.0 off the coast of Japan. March 11th, 2011 it really did happen! I have taken this factual event, twisted it with horror and thriller suspense, but keeping within the fictional side of things. After all, it was recorded days prior to it happening to which the film producer corroborated the entire story for all in the beginning of the book as well. There is an excerpt of 3 complete chapters essentially downloaded on Goodreads for all to enjoy. What are your feelings of precognitive premonitions as a sign of things to come?
