Greetings, readers! I love writing romance, and write primarily medieval and Scottish romance. In 2017, my first two books with Entangled Publishing were released, entitled An Earl for the Archeress, and Maiden's Defender. In 2016, my book, Prince of Lions, was a top 10 download on Amazon in the categories of Scottish and Medieval historical romance. In 2014, my unpublished manuscript entitled Two Brides for Ewan de Buchan was a Second Prize as a quarter-finalist in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award contest. It is now a lovely, published book! Check out my forthcoming novella entitled Christmas Wore Plaid, releasing in the Love Rekindled at Christmas anthology. All 2018 profits will go to charity.

When new ideas help the plot, I incorporate them into my manuscript. My story ideas mainly spring from my imagination and experiences, though period music and imagery of historical gowns, architecture, and landscapes also help inspire. (less)

I snagged this story as a recent deal from Amazon, and I'm glad I did. The trope and plot line were common enough, but it was fun watching the hero and heroine come together, and I thought the authors seeded their budding, deeper feelings for each ot ...more

“A laconic and highly entertaining" novel. "The characters are strong, each showing major evidence of being a product of their respective cultures. Overall, the story is a strong one, with a couple of well-executed twists that succeed in surprising the reader."

- Publishers Weekly judge for the 2014 ABNA Contest, Two Brides for Ewan de Buchan

"I love historical romance novels and this one right off the bat based on the plot/hook made me want to read more. I devoured this...and re-read it twice. It seems like the author has a very good handle on the time period in which this novel is set."

- 2014 ABNA Contest judge, Two Brides for Ewan de Buchan

"I think this is really well crafted and interesting. The plot/hook caught me from the first paragraph. The characters are well done and I really loved the novelist's attention to historical detail...It's a really great romance novel, and is of publication quality. This novelist has a real future in writing romance (or even general fiction) books."
