No Fudging on Romance #fudge #recipe #ValentinesDay
February is here, the month when romantics, conformists, and panicked spouses all converge on florists and chocolate shops. If you live in the northern two-thirds of the northern hemisphere, by all means, buy your loved one some flowers. (Nothing’s going to grow in my tundra of a front yard any time soon!) However, for a personal touch, step away from the candy aisle and pick up the kitchen spatula to make that special someone a pan of homemade fudge.
February Fudge
7 oz marshmallow creme
1½ cups sugar
⅔ cup evaporated milk
¼ cup butter
¼ tsp. salt
2 cups milk chocolate chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
Combine marshmallow creme, sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt in a saucepan. Stirring constantly, bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat. Boil for 5 minutes, still stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Add both kinds of chocolate chips and stir until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in vanilla.
Pour in foil-lined 8X8 pan. Chill until firm, roughly 2 hours. Makes 2½ pounds.
From the basic recipe, you can add caramel, pecans, peanut butter and more, depending on your loved one’s preference. Using a cookie cookies, you can even cut the fudge into hearts or pour it into heart-shaped bread or muffin/cookie tins while it is still warm. Make your fudge as unique as you are to delight your significant other and infuse decadent sweetness into your love life.
Here's a little from my fun release that shows how much I loved playing with the Brothers Grimm. Hope you like it.
Before Armina Keer can have the baby she dreams of, she needs her estranged husband Ian to sign their divorce papers. Putting everything on the line for a second chance, Ian must convince her their love is worth saving, and Armina must decide if love is worth sacrificing her dreams.
Ian Keer might not deserve a second chance with his wife, but he’s not going to give up one either, not with the immediate flaming attraction still between them. While her uncles’ antics wreak havoc on life at The Inn, he offers her the ultimate gamble: Spend the night with him, and afterwards he’ll sign the papers if she still wants to leave.
With everything riding on one night together, Ian must convince her that their love is strong enough the second time around, and Armina must decide if love is worth sacrificing her dreams.
“You hate me,” Ian whispered, feeling more nauseous than if he’d ingested a prosthetic eyeball. How could she not hate him when she believed their personal relationship had meant less to him than an employment issue?
Armina gazed beyond his left shoulder. “I don’t hate you. I’ve never hated you. When we got married, I understood you had a strong work ethic combined with an unusual drive to succeed and a consuming passion for the Inn. I knew I’d come in second to this place.”
He opened his mouth, wanting to argue, but couldn’t. If she’d made him choose, he wouldn’t have picked her.
I thought I was okay with it,” she continued. “After all, I loved the Inn, too, and wanted you to realize your vision for it. Turns out I wasn’t okay. I didn’t realize how distant second place actually was.” She shrugged her slim shoulders. “Live and learn, right?”
Not right. He wanted to take back the lesson and teach her about real love instead. “You never should have had to settle for second place. With me or with anyone else. No one has the right to ask that of you.”
"Agreed.” Her voice came out stronger, her shoulders squared, and she looked him directly in the eye. “Now you understand why I want a divorce.”

She’s caught between the para and human world…he’s always been an outcast. At the Wiccan Haus, they’ll find each other and paradise.
As a crossbreed good fairy, Bliss is tired of goodness, light, and everything that’s right. Talk about boring. Her human half demands a bad boy. Someone who’ll curl her hair and toes, while also cherishing her. In other words, the whole enchilada.
Enter Fallon. Tall, dark, handsome, and seriously dangerous. No, seriously. He’s a reaper. Trouble is he’s started to covet human emotions. Longing. Lust. Love. He needs healing fast to get his head screwed on right and go back to the way he was.
Bliss doesn’t agree and is determined to show him another way. Sometimes you have to break all the rules to find your destiny.

“What are you, if you don’t mind me asking?”He did but there wasn’t any way around the truth. “A reaper.”Bliss’s mouth hung open.He jabbed the lobby button. “I’ll go back down and wait until you’re on your floor then take—”“Hold on.” She caressed his hand. His legs went limp. Every other part of him turned harder than steel.“You don’t have to get off the elevator.” She stroked his thumb. “So you’re a reaper, huh? That’s interesting.”He chuckled. “First time I’ve heard it called that. Most people think it’s gruesome.”“Pooh on them.” She leaned into him. “Have they been mean to you?”Blue flecks added color to her eyes. Her musk surrounded and enthralled. “Huh?”“You know, were they rude and unkind, saying things they shouldn’t?” Compassion flooded her features, making her breathtaking. “That’s so wrong.” She rested her hand on his chest. His inner heat shot up a thousand percent. The only sane thing was to back away. He edged closer. “I don’t mind.”“Don’t mind what?”“That people have been cruel. Hell, I’m there to end their lives, take their souls. Many well before their time. Innocents who should have had long, full lives. I certainly never expected the Welcome Wagon.”“But it hasn’t been your fault. It’s your job and you’ve been hurt by your victims’ reactions.”He wished she would’ve used a kinder word than victim. However, others had wounded him. More than she could have imagined or he wanted to get into. He shrugged. A juvenile response, but he couldn’t muster anything better.Bliss stroked his bottom lip. Damn thing tingled so much he trembled. She pressed against him. Her nipples poked his chest. Their hipbones touched. “I’m sorry for your pain. I want you to feel better.”Any more stimulation from her and he’d come in his jeans. “What?”“Me too.”“Huh?”“Shhh.” She slanted her mouth over his and drove her tongue deeply inside.

Tina is an Amazon and international bestselling novelist in erotic, paranormal, contemporary and historical romance for traditional publishers and indie. Zombies? He dropped his phone and stared at it on the floor, expecting it to explode. Zombies didn’t exist. He was in some kind of dream. Had to be. Missy actually had come home for the summer. And kissed him. Now, zombies.
“What is it?” Missy bent down to pick up his cell then handed it back to him. “What happened back at the park?”
“Zombies.” The word came out before he had a chance to stop it. He didn’t know whether to laugh or grab Missy again and run.
A crooked smile formed dimples in her cheeks. “You’re joking, right? Trying to help me laugh off what happened.”
“I wish.” He showed her the message from his father. “My dad doesn’t have a sense of humor.”
The phone beeped, and she pushed his hand away. “I think it needs to be charged. We should call him just to be sure. Or contact somebody. Maybe he meant something else. You know how stupid autocorrect can be.”
RJ rushed to the kitchen, found his charger, and plugged in the cell. But, by then, he’d lost signal. Reception was spotty in West Vitula, but he couldn’t get anything. He peeked through the doorway, out to the living room. “Missy, can you get a signal?”
After digging into her purse, she pulled out her phone with a pink, sparkly case. Not at all what he expected from her. Had he missed that girly side, or had someone given it to her, and she didn’t want to hurt their feelings? That he could understand.
She held the cell up and moved around the room. “I got nothing. What’s going on?”
“I don’t know. Maybe we should try outside?” Though he doubted it would make a difference.
Missy stepped over to window and shoved the curtains aside. “Um, there are people coming. And they don’t…look right.”
RJ glanced outside. Neighbors walked down the middle of the street, their bodies twitching. And no one stopped to talk to one another. They just kept marching along to some unknown destination. As they came closer, he noticed their tattered clothing, their disheveled hair, and limbs connected at odd angles to the rest of their body, as if they’d been trampled. And now they were up and walking.

Excerpt
“Bring the file here and place it on my desk.” He settled more comfortably into his chair, steepled his fingers beneath his chin, and admired the sway of her lush hips. She placed the file down as instructed then folded her hands in front of her, eyes still averted. Schooling his need with an iron control, Daniel waited.
Her chest rose and fell, the slight hitch in her breath pressing her breasts against the thin silk of her blouse. The tip of her tongue peeked out, dampening her coral-pink lips, and a bolt of lust drove him from the chair. Ignoring Lou, he strode to the door and locked it. He doubted there were many people left in the building at that time of day on a Friday, but he wouldn’t risk anyone interrupting them.
Pacing back to the center of the room, he stopped to admire the hourglass lines of her figure. The heels looked even better from the back. Balancing on their slender points gave extra definition to her calf muscles. “Do you know why I summoned you, Ms. Jones?”
Her breath seemed to catch in her throat. Her voice barely above a whisper, she said, “No, Mr. Smith.”
“You will call me Daniel.” The visceral need for her to know who was about to touch her surprised him. He wanted to hear his name on her lips as she sighed, moaned, and fell apart at his command. Her head bobbed in acquiescence, and he spoke again. “I summoned you because you canceled our
appointment this evening.”
She half-turned, seemed to catch herself, and straightened to face the front again. A thrill of satisfaction curled in his gut. Each little act of submission from her proved sexy as hell. “Did you do as I requested?” he asked. Her skirt clung to her hips and ass with no hint of a panty line, but he couldn’t be sure.
“Yes,” she murmured.
A bolt of lust rocked him on his heels. He wanted to crawl on his hands and knees and fawn at her feet, but she had been very specific in her email—her fantasy required him to be the boss, to take control and dictate his desires upon her.
“Show me.” The rasp in his voice couldn’t be helped; his body tingled with anticipation. Her hands gripped the hem of her skirt and began to raise it, inch by tantalizing inch. The material cleared the back of her knees, gliding higher to reveal the lacy tops of her thigh-high stockings, the soft expanse of her tanned thighs.

Being Krystyna: A story of survival in WWII #Holocaust #biography @CarolABrowne
Carol Browne is a talented author who accepted the challenge to step out of her comfort zone and write a biography of a Holocaust victim and all the horrors the young Polish girl was forced to endure. Being Krystyna: A story of survival in WWII is a gut-wrenching short story that will tug at you and won't let go.
In 2012 when young Polish immigrant Agnieszka visits fellow countrywoman Krystyna in a Peterborough care home for the first time, she thinks it a simple act of kindness. However, the meeting proves to be the beginning of a life-changing experience.
Krystyna’s stories about the past are not memories of the good old days but recollections of war-ravaged Europe: The Warsaw Ghetto, Pawiak Prison, Ravensbrück Concentration Camp, and a death march to freedom.
The losses and ordeals Krystyna suffered and what she had to do to survive are horrors Agnieszka must confront when she volunteers to be Krystyna’s biographer.
Will Agnieszka be able to keep her promise to tell her story, and, in this harrowing memoir of survival, what is the message for us today?

Crank up the "Ice, Ice, Baby"
Last week I was hunkered down in the my writing cave in the middle of an ice storm. If you live in the United States, chances are winter weather has put a dent in your plans (but hopefully not your car!) at least once recently. In honor(?) of this dubious distinction, I decided it was time to pull out my "snowed in" romance, which not only features snow and ice but a baby, as well. I'll wait while you cue up Vanilla Ice on your iPod...
All set? Okay, here's a look at what you DON'T want to happen when you're driving on slippery roads, courtesy of Dr. Caleb Paden in Tempting Mr. Forever :
As soon as he picked up his son, Caleb would stop at the nearest hotel for the night. He hadn’t seen a snowplow or a salt truck, let alone another car. Heck, he could hardly see the road through the blowing snow.
His pilot had made the right call by refusing to fly into the storm, landing near Chicago and leaving Caleb to navigate the unfamiliar rental car west in deteriorating road conditions.
The car fishtailed, and he fought the steering wheel to keep it on the road. Or at least where he thought the road was.
“Arriving at destination, on right,” the female GPS voice chirped.
Although he couldn’t discern a driveway, he pressed the brake. The car skidded and slid sideways. To his right, nothing disturbed the layers upon layers of snow, except for the vague outlines of what might have been trees.
“Make a U-turn at the next opportunity,” the GPS suggested.
Yeah sure. He squinted through the fat flakes battering his vehicle. Behind him to the right, something—possibly the top of a mailbox—protruded from the snow. Considering his sideways position on the slippery road, he didn’t like the odds of keeping the car straight while driving in reverse. He’d have to finish turning around. He twisted the wheel and pressed the gas. The tires spun. Then the car shot forward.
Too fast. Heart racing, he slammed the brakes. The car skidded toward the ditch. Oh no. Stop! By some miracle it did, inches from the drop-off. Despite wanting to turn the ignition off and not drive another inch until the weather cleared, he had to keep going for the child’s sake.
Filling his lungs with deep, confident breaths, he shifted into reverse. The tires spun again. He lifted his foot and then pushed the gas pedal. The car shot backward. He shoved on the brake, but the car continued to glide in reverse, mocking any control he tried to exercise.
He turned the wheel in a desperate attempt not to roll trunk-first into the ditch. The car spun in a circle and then slid in slow motion, nose first, down the steep embankment.
“Arriving at destination, on left,” the GPS chirped.
