Anomaly of Blaze
It's certainly the most anomalous book! The third instalment of the series will be ready by Monday, and then it'll take 24hrs or so to go through the various publishing processes. It should be available to download by next Tuesday (13th of March) on Amazon and Smashwords. Other retailers like iTunes and B&N usually take a fortnight to update their stock, so I'm afraid you may have a slightly longer wait on those outlets.
I really, really hope everyone enjoys it. I found it remarkably tough to write at times because there are so many moods and character developments and plot lines, all colliding at once! It has taken a great deal of very intense, hard work with quite a few 14hr days thrown in. But I'm just finishing up my second edit, and I am feeling rather proud of myself!!
Please do show it some love (or even hate!) with your ratings/reviews.

Arghhhh!
Well, I've hit the 120k target, but the book is still not quite finished! Still, the end is now in sight. Shouldn't be much farther to go!

Volume 3 nearly done...
I plan to have the first draft of Volume 3 of The Fireblade Array complete by this time next Monday. It's going to be a hard push, but it should be feasible. I will finish this book!! Grrrrr!
And a small appeal: if you've picked up any of my books from Amazon, please consider leaving a little review, if you have time (and if you haven't done so already!). The Snowlands promo has ended
I'm afraid it has reverted to its $0.99/£0.76 pricing. With any luck the free distribution will have gained me some new readers, and I might even get some more reviews!
Speaking of which, I already have a fantastically positive one from Amazon Top 500 Reviewer, Cheryl M-M. I think this lady must have very nearly worn her Kindle out with all the books she's read and reviewed over the last few years! But yes, many thanks go to her for the kind words and assessment. I think she's right about it being a sci-fi-fantasy novel rather than pure sci-fi - I was definitely heading for more of a Frank Herbert than an Isaac Asimov affair.
And what of Volume 3? It's going well. I've just had a re-read of everything so far, and it seems to be coming out better than I had thought, in spite of my numerous mental blocks! There were some sections that I'd left for later because they were so tricky to tease apart and I now feel I can come back to them, so that's a very positive step forward with the work.
As for length, I had intended for this to be shorter than CoB, but I think it may end up coming in at a similar word count: possibly 120k. We shall see!

New book!
No, it's not Volume 3 just yet... but it is a nice little novella (40,000 words) about some characters and themes which will be very familiar to readers of The Fireblade Array.
Basically, I've mashed everything up a bit and put it into a sci-fi setting.

A young woman wakes after a battle to find that the only clues to her identity are her injuries, a dead man and the tooth of a predator. Four years pass in which she assumes a guessed name, but Raia is unexpectedly invited to the black heart of the empire and the vast, harsh edifice of The Fortress. She has an opportunity to retrieve her past, but will she accept the person her memories describe?
