How did you get published, and do you have any advice for someone wanting to get published?

Apologies for the delay in replying to this, I’ve been away for a while - my queue has been doing the posting! I am published on Lulu and Amazon - I would say that my biggest advise about getting published is to try and build up a fan base first. This serves the joint purpose of being able to see how people react to your writing long before it is released and then, if they enjoy it, means that you already have some people to release a book to when you finally get around to the publishing part...
