Stories of animals, the sun, moon, and weather.
Clues of battles, what had passed.

Now, with time on our hands.
We reduce communication,

A traveler’s bell.
Rings in the culture
Of hope and promise
A shield against assumptions
Tokens of significance.
When the wind blows
Bells chime in sync with
The swaying leaves,
Soft notes like bird chirps
Signals of sun’s rise and set.
Nature’s prompts
Define the journey into
uncharted territory.
A warm welcome
For the wayward.

Deep in the recess of my brain
I search within the silence,
To the hum of thoughts.
Connections warmed by time.
Nature’s creation
Chaotic discord of visions
Misaligned.
I grasp at contrary apparitions.

With my touch.
Nothing to hold,
They twirl in between,
Pockets of air.

Do not negate the Good
With the pollution of bad
The difference
Moves us in a direction

From the heart of kind
Celebrate what is
What you can do
Give voice to solutions.
And Inclusiveness.
Make peace a virtue.

Act to change.
But do not negate the Good.
