20181014 Weekly Update
It has been a challenge to do IntTober every day and post my daily Instagram, but I’m working the time I have and pushing myself. Drawing has been a skill I’ve not worked in a number of years. How many, I can’t recall. Yikes! Regardless, I’m doing well, enjoying myself and still posting my words and pix every night. Deadlines are not being met as stringently as before, but I’m giving myself some wiggle room since I’m balancing more on my plate than usual. The IGTV vid finally got done, my monthly Vlog was posted and I’m fighting to conclude the last bits of work on editing Ripples of Mind.
Boy, do I need a vacation! Oh, yeah. Today concludes the vacation I took for my birthday. Oh well…
My Insta-fave this day is a selfie from yesterday. My birthday was a wonderful ending to a relaxing week intentionally spent away from work and used to explore the world outside, enjoy my time and discover some long-needed rest. May we all celebrate our birthdays with smiles, rest and excitement. Onwards!

20181007 Weekly Update
Well, October is now in full swing for me. I’ve now gotten a week of InkTober done and am opening the floodgates to my inner worlds, words and wonder. I am in sprint mode, running a marathon. (Yikes!)

20180930 Weekly Update
September is now at an end and we are fast approaching the end of the year. (Yikes!) For me, that means the deadline to release my revised second book is upon me and the need to wrap up the latest novel grows with each passing day. I am also trying my hand at InkTober and will tackle NaNoWriMo for the last time. This will be one decade since I took the bull by the horns and struggled my way to the finish line those many years ago. Ah, how time flies…

20180923 Weekly Update
Another week has come and gone with maximum effort and just a bit less progress than I’d like. I have posted my daily Instagram pictures but missed the IGTV posting for the week. One of those planned items to do that fell to the devourer of progress known as Time. I will work diligently to get one out this coming week. I am enjoying these posts and look forward to the process every time.
I hope everyone else met their goals and continue to move forward in their endeavors in life. Some days just build up and hold you back, but as I’ve always believed: If you ever feel that the world may be against you, then you must be a truly mighty warrior in life. The world doesn’t conspire against just anybody. Take charge and show it who’s boss. Onwards!

20180916 Weekly Update
Busy week and weekend for many. I did not get to hike as much but I got to enjoy good company and wrapped up the weekend with a smile. I had a visit to the zoo this weekend as well and captured many great images to share. I am always amazed at the beauty found in the world that so many fail to see. There may be some great animals and activities taking place but there is beauty in the crowds and in the splendor of nature. I hope many of us discover what is beyond the veil of common day-to-day activities and find the wonder in every day. Onwards!

20180909 Weekly Update
September is revving up to be a chaotic month. Work is ramping up at my paying gig and weekends are beginning to get busy. I’m going to the zoo next weekend. Yay turtles!
In the meantime, I’ve just completed my monthly Vlog, am banging my head to get through the edits for Ripples of Mind and tackling the addition of several social media posts. Did I mention I was invited to create an AMA event? Gotta love the chance to include new Q&A events to the schedule.
In the meantime, I’m trying to get reading done, writing done and planning for the series of pictures that will have book promotions on them. (Oh, how I dread selfies!) Regardless, I’m also considering jumping into InkTober to toy with my old skills. I’ve not drawn on paper in a while but the thought made me think about how much I was drawn to NaNoWriMo a decade ago. Perhaps in completing one decade of challenges, I will begin a new one. Hmmm…
I continue to post weekly IGTV vids and post them along several platforms, hoping to reach a wider audience. It is good to share positive thoughts!
