Quarantine distraction in "Fallout 3" mods
I finally got the bugs out of my "Fallout 3" setup with Vortex, the new mod manager.
Now it works great, and I’m romping happily in the Capital Wasteland again, playing the excellent fan-created adventure “The Crimson Caravan” with my “Grognak the Barbarian fanboy” character.
(For this character I continue looking for an appropriate fan-made medieval helmet, either with horns or wings. Closest thing is pith helmet or a WWI German single-spike helmet. Nope! So he wears the Eyebot helm.)
"The Crimson Caravan" is a highly-rated fan-created adventure, number eleven in the non-adult category. The quality is so good it is both amazing and refreshing. There is a level where it gets "better than professional."
In years past I played numbers 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 14. Last year I played number 1 ("Vault 101 Revisited"), and it was very good indeed.

Bonus Michael Andre-Driussi Talks about Gene Wolfe's The Book of the New Sun: A Chapter Guide
...in the course of our conversation upon The Book of the New Sun I reveal some Chapter Guide "bonus bits," things I am thinking on that did NOT get into the Chapter Guide. These tidbits might end up being ephemeral wisps, or they might grow into something, but I think they are interesting!
