THE #HORRORSHOW100 TELETHON IS NOW LIVE
The Horror Show with Brian Keene is a weekly podcast featuring interviews with horror authors, filmmakers, artists, actors, musicians, and more. We are celebrating the show’s 100th episode with a live 24-hour telethon to benefit Scares That Care. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for the charity over the next twenty-four hours. The event is being live-streamed via YouTube from noon 1/26/17 to noon 1/27/17. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN FOR FREE.
If you have a question or comment for the hosts or their guests during the show, post it via Twitter using the #HorrorShow100 hashtag. This is the best way for us to see it.
Scares That Care is an approved 501(c)(3) charity. We fight the REAL MONSTERS of childhood illness, burns and breast cancer by helping families cope with the financial burden of these extraordinary hardships. Our non-profit organization provides money, toys and other items to help sick children. We also have the “Scares For Pairs,” program, which helps women fighting breast cancer. And we are partnered with horror icon Kane Hodder for the “I Helped Kane” program, where we provide assistance to those children who have suffered serious burn injuries. We are a 100% VOLUNTEER organization in order to maximize our supporters donations to those who need it! CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE THREE FAMILIES THE CHARITY IS HELPING THIS YEAR.

#HorrorShow100 Update
My weekly podcast, THE HORROR SHOW WITH BRIAN KEENE, reaches its milestone 100th episode next week. To celebrate, we’ll be doing a live, 24-hour telethon from 12pm (EST) on Thursday, January 26th to 12pm (EST) on Friday, January 27th. During this live broadcast, we hope to raise $10,000 for Scares That Care — a 501C charity which you can learn more about here.
This live event will be streamed online worldwide via my YouTube Channel, and will feature an array of special guests, surprises, and all the usual stuff you’ve come to expect from the show over the last two years.
If you’d like to watch it in person and perhaps appear on the show yourself, you can come be a part of our live studio audience. We’ll be recording at Holiday Inn Express Hunt Valley, 11200 York Road, Cockeysville MD 21030.
For those planning to attend, who are wondering what authors will be present, here is a list (so that you can bring books to be signed):
Ronald Malfi
Mary SanGiovanni
Damien Angelica Walters
Scott Edelman
Stephen Kozeniewski
Armand Rosamilia
Chuck Buda
Frank Edler
Tommy Clark
And more to be announced.
We’ll be using the hashtag #HorrorShow100 on Twitter, mostly because that’s what the young people like.
I hope to see some of you in person at the event. For those who can’t make it, I hope you’ll tune in, listen, and donate to this very worthy cause.

THRONE OF THE BASTARDS
by Brian Keene and Steven L. Shrewsbury
Rogan is back in this sequel to Brian Keene and Steven L. Shrewsbury’s award-winning KING OF THE BASTARDS, and this time, he’ll show no mercy. Learning that his family are in danger, Rogan returns to his former kingdom, now under siege from foreign invaders led by his bastard son. Now, the aging barbarian and his trusted companions, Javan and Akibeel, must forge an alliance new friends and old foes, mustering an army to retake the kingdom. Surrounded by savages, soldiers, demons, and dark magic, it will take all their cunning, skill, and courage to survive the war and determine once and for all who shall sit upon the THRONE OF THE BASTARDS.
SCHOOL’S OUT
by Brian Keene
Eight-year-old Alan doesn’t like going to school, but when a global pandemic leaves him orphaned, cold, starving, and lonely, he has no choice but to set out on a dangerous quest to return to his third-grade classroom. SCHOOL’S OUT, an all-new post-apocalyptic novella by Brian Keene, was suggested to him by his son, marking their first official collaboration, and is suitable for all ages.
COME TO DUST
by Bracken MacLeod
Ever since her mother abandoned her, five-year-old Sophie has had to depend on her uncle Mitch for everything. But he’s struggling. Restarting a life interrupted by time in prison is hard enough without having to balance work and single parenthood. Mitch is determined to make it work though, striving to keep their family together despite the obstacles in their way, because no matter how difficult things get, they are good for each other. And life for the two of them seems to be looking up. But when Sophie dies tragically, it all comes crashing down. Mitch descends into a crippling grief, coming to understand how little his freedom means without her to share it with. And though released from the sudden responsibility thrust upon him, all he wants is his niece back, safe and alive.
When he gets his wish and scores of children around the world begin to inexplicably rise from the dead—Sophie among them—everything becomes much harder.
Mitch rescues her from the morgue, determined to carve out a normal life for them no matter what, though it soon becomes clear that may not be possible. While the kids who’ve returned behave like living children, they still look very dead. And they can do something else that normal children cannot. Something terrifying. Beliefs differ whether the children’s return is a mercy or a sign of approaching judgment, and a congregation of religious fanatics determined to usher in the apocalypse has their own plan for salvation.
Now Mitch must find a way to save Sophie from an increasingly hostile world that wants to tear them apart and put her back in the ground for good.

Important Note For All Patreon Supporters
THE SEVEN: THE LABYRINTH, Book One is a monthly serialized novel available via my Patreon page. Previously, supporters could pay whatever price they deemed fair ($1 to $10) for access to the novel and read new chapters as they were posted.
This morning, I updated things.
At $1 a month, you still receive access to the novel.
At $5 a month, you receive access to the novel and behind-the-scenes stuff from various works in progress.
At $10 a month, you receive access to the novel, behind-the-scenes stuff from various works in progress, AND a brand-new original short story each and every month.
The only problem is, Patreon didn’t automatically update everyone’s awards. So…if you are one of my 193 Patreon supporters, please take a moment to log in to Patreon, edit your pledge, and choose the correct reward for you, so that you don’t miss out. And if you aren’t yet a Patreon supporter, this is a fine time to become one. CLICK HERE TO ACCESS PATREON.
