PRE-ORDER DC HOUSE OF HORROR
Have you ever wondered “What would a Brian Keene Justice League or John Constantine comic be like?” Or perhaps, “I wonder what Edward Lee would do with Superman?” Or maybe, “I bet Mary SanGiovanni could rock the house on Wonder Woman.” Or, “Nick Cutter on Batman. Wouldn’t that be nuts?”
If so, please pre-order DC HOUSE OF HORROR #1, which will be in comic book stores on October 25th. It features work by myself, Edward Lee, Mary SanGiovanni, Bryan Smith, Nick Cutter, Wrath James White, Weston Ochse, and Ronald Malfi, paired with artists Rags Morales, Bilquis Evely, Howard Porter, Scott Kolins, and Dale Eaglesham. It also features the maniacal Keith Giffen riding herd over us all.
I cannot stress enough how important it is that you pre-order this comic from your local comic book store. Due to the distribution system in place, there is a 50/50 chance comic book sores will actually have a copy on the shelf release day UNLESS YOU PRE-ORDER IT FROM THEM. To do so, simply walk into your local comic book store and say, “Hello. I would like to pre-order DC HOUSE OF HORROR, and the order code is AUG170272.”
It’s that easy. And if you don’t have a local comic book store in your vicinity, you can order online from Mid-Town Comics and have it shipped directly to you.
DC editorial have told us that if the book sells well enough, this will become a regular, monthly thing. That means you’ll see HORROR return to DC Comics. If you want to make that happen, then please, please, please pre-order.
Thank you.

Summer Appearances — Virginia and Colorado
I will be at the 4th annual SCARES THAT CARE CHARITY WEEKEND in Williamsburg, VA on July 21st – 23rd, and at the GHOST TOWN WRITERS RETREAT in Georgetown, CO on August 3rd – 6th. Here is what you need to know if you are attending either event.
Due to my increased involvement with the Scares That Care charity, and my promotion within the organization, I will not be sitting behind an autograph table all weekend (unlike previous years). While I am certainly willing and happy to sign your books, I will not have books for sale, and can only sign what you bring from home or what you purchase from one of our vendors. Also, as I am overseeing three different areas of the convention, as well as our celebrity guests, authors, and podcasters, my interaction time will be limited. Please don’t bring me a box of twenty books to sign, because I won’t have time for that. I am, however, happy to sign two or three for you.
No such restrictions apply at the Ghost Town Writers Retreat. I will be available all weekend, and will be happy to sign as many books as you want. However, I will not have books for sale, so again, please bring books from home or buy them from one of the convention’s vendors.
I hope to see some of you at these two events!

LAST OF THE ALBATWITCHES Audiobook
Continuing the release of all of Brian Keene’s backlist on audio, Crossroads Press is proud to present LAST OF THE ALBATWITCHES, narrated by Chet Williamson.
Fan favorite ex-Amish occult detective Levi Stolzfus, the star of Ghost Walk and A Gathering of Crows, returns in two novellas of demons and monsters!
The Witching Tree
In the woods of Pennsylvania there is a clearing with only one lone tree in the center. And from that tree, there comes only death.
Levi has been brought in to investigate the mysterious killings. In doing so, he must face a force much older than mankind – an evil that will threaten to take his life and faith.
The Last of the Albatwitches
There’s an old legend about the forest surrounding Chickies Rock – how it’s the home to a reclusive race of Sasquatch-like creatures known as the Albatwitches. But after a recent murder, Levi suspects there might be some truth to the stories. Now he must race against both the Cryptid Hunters reality television team and a squad of private security contractors from the mysterious Globe Corporation, to unravel the source of the legend and determine what manner of monster has turned the forest into a killing ground.
