Cecil the Lion and America

Hello Rebels, and welcome back to my life.

Vidcon was a fountain of ideas for videos for me and I’m going to get to them soon, but I need to take at least today and tomorrow talking about something a little more serious.

You might have heard that on the 1st of July, a lion named Cecil was shot and killed in Zimbabwe.

GIVEAWAY: Darkfire is HERE!!!

Hello Rebels, and welcome back to my life.

I’m still recovering from Vidcon over the weekend—not only Vidcon itself, but work that stacked up in the days preceding it that I wasn’t able to complete before the convention.

Because of that I couldn’t make a video yesterday to tell you that DARKFIRE HAS RELEASED!

Everything You Need to Know about Pluto and New Horizons

Hello Rebels, and welcome back to my life.

A lot of things happened during my recent break from making videos but probably the one I’m most excited about is the New Horizons mission that just reached Pluto, the unfortunately-not-a-planet that’s got astronomers all a-twitter.

They actually are all kind of freaking out on Twitter. It’s adorable.

Just in case you are, like, me a quasi-science geek in that you like science but don’t always keep up on the news of it, here’s everything you need to know about the New Horizons mission and what we’ve learned about Pluto so far.

Thoughts from Exhaustion

Hello Rebels, and welcome back to my life.

It’s very tempting to gloss over the fact that I haven’t made a video in several days, almost two weeks in fact, but I actually can’t do that because it’s actually the whole reason I’m making today’s video in the first place.

You see, I’ve been locked up here in my office trying to bang out—phrasing—the final draft of Darkfire, the third book in the Nightblade Epic, and when I say locked up, I kind of mean it.

Page a Day: June 28th, 2015

Yesterday was unsuccessful.

I did not complete Matt's outline, though I stayed up till 4:30am trying to do it. I'm just not happy with it right now. It's not complete, or concise. It feels like a bunch of stuff happening rather than a cohesive narrative.

Page a Day: June 27th, 2015

Well. It's been quite some time, hasn't it?

Yes, Page a Day has been gone for more than six months, but today while making my YouTube video I decided I would revive it. It was a great productivity tool, and a fun record of my time. It's back, for as long as I can keep it going.
