Off. . . To. . . Ireland!!

On Wednesday, I’ll be heading out again – as usual in the springtime for me — but this time it’s a first — I’m going to Ireland for the first time! Although I’ll be on my own for a couple of days, I’ll be meeting writer friends in Dublin and then traveling south and west and out to the Dingle peninsula to spend a week writing… A dream trip for certain.

And, as I did on my last trip to Scotland in 2009, I’ll be posting some touring, traveling and research tidbits here on my website blog….and photos, of course!

 

 

 

 

These photos are not ones I’ve taken but I hope to have some that will rival them…..and remind me of the magic and mystery of the place long after I arrive home.  So, cross your fingers and wish me luck as I set out alone….in a car…on the other side of the road!!   Talk to you soon!!

Barbara Vey’s Reader Appreciation Weekend!

 

        I’m heading to Milwaukee for Barbara Vey’s weekend of fun to celebrate romance readers. Although the actual luncheon sold-out in TWO WEEKS, there are two events that are open to the public — the Authors’ Q&A on Friday at 6pm and the booksigning on Saturday from 3:30-4:30pm. These events will be held at the Clarion Hotel on Howell St. near the airport.

There are more than 60 authors attending – take a look here for a list of all of them!

So, if you’re in the area, please stop by!

From Thursday, April 2 through Sunday, April 5, a group of Historical Romance authors are having an online Easter Egg Hunt! Each author will offer an individual prize and the group is awarding one lucky person a HUGE specialty Easter Basket of Goodies!! All you have to do is look for the Easter Egg on the participating authors’ website and click to enter –here’s a list of all the authors –

The more sites you visit and eggs you find, the better your chances of winning – so grab your Easter basket and get going!

Springing Into Romance and Signing, too!

On Saturday, April 4th, I’ll be joining authors Robin Kaye, Nancy Weeks and Jean Murray for a romance signing at Ukazoo Books in Towsin, MD! If you’re in the area, please stop by….there will be chocolate, gifties, books and fun!

 

Two Releases in TWO Weeks!

March is going to be an exciting month for me — but it’s not going to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb — it’s just going to ROAR all the way through. Why? Because, after almost a year of waiting, I’ll have 2 new books – each one beginning a new series — out this month!

 

RISING FIRE: A Novel of the Stone Circles — will be released this week – on Tuesday, March 3 – and it begins my paranormal/fantasy series about  the human descendants of ancient gods who must battle an evil determined to destroy humanity! William and Brienne will become the first of the  Warriors of Destiny, setting themselves on a path that will force them to choose between good and evil, between humanity and gods and between love  and loss. The first book in a four-book series, it’s my first venture into an alternate history set in Scotland (and Orkney), England and Ireland. STOLEN BY THE HIGHLANDER – will be out in print on March 17 and in digital on April 1st and it’s the first in my new A HIGHLAND FEUDING series.
