Tuesday Tease: another steamy extract (#erotica #sexystories)

Something juicy. Something to set the pulse racing. Something you don't want to stop...
Yes, it's the Tuesday Tease: a series of super-short extracts from the point in a story where things are getting hot and steamy!
No one had touched me since I had been led into this room, guided onto the bed, secured.Already, I had lost track of how long I had been there. It could have been only a minute or two; it could have been much longer. My hips were aching from the way my legs had been spread, just a little too wide.I felt vulnerable, exposed; my pussy, especially. Uncovered, open to all. Were they standing at the foot of the bed, studying me? Assessing me?I twisted, straining a little against my restraints. Not to get free, just to ease the aches.I felt a little anxious, and a lot excited.Lying exposed like this, it was odd how so much of my sensitivity, my awareness, had migrated to my pussy.I rolled my hips in what I hoped must look an inviting way.I wanted them. All of them. I wanted to be fucked.

Eye Candy: that magical moment (Dirty Birdies flock hop and prize draw)

Or scroll down this page first
for the prize draw. That moment when you first set eyes on someone, when you just know... What is it? Sure, there's the obvious - built like a quarterback and hung like a donkey - but that's not it. That's not what distinguishes someone from all the other obviously, and less obviously, good-lookers.
Part of it's an animal thing. Something ingrained into us by generation upon generation of evolution, all those subconscious ways we assess a potential mate. Muscles, athleticism; anything that suggests intelligence and sensitivity; balance and speed. The alpha male, the guy who can provide and protect: there's a reason why he presses all those buttons!
But that still doesn't tell us why the guy I might pick out in a room might not remotely be the one you would pick. Is it just genes, finding each of us a good match?
It's certainly a biological thing: there's not much that is more physical than that immediate gut reaction when your eyes meet across a crowded room... when you just know that there's real potential there.
Writing about that moment, and what follows, is one of the reasons I write at all. Stories are about drama, and there's little more dramatic than that moment when two lives change forever.
It's one of the hardest scenes to write without resorting to cliché, though. There's a reason for that: it's a moment we all recognize; it's a cliché because it's true, and sometimes it's fun to confront that head on, which is what I did in this short extract from The Object of His Desire.
That was when it happened. My Jane Austen moment. My cliché.
My attention was snagged by movement in the chapel doorway and I turned, thinking Ethan must be emerging and now was the time for me to go and hug him and sweep away the distance that had grown between us.
Instead, it was a guy I’d never seen before.
He was in a tux, this newcomer. He was about six foot, and his shoulders were square, almost as if he was wearing a quarterback’s shoulder pads. He was either an athlete or he spent far too much time looking after himself in the gym.
So: first impression was okay, but nothing to write home about.
And then... that Jane Austen moment.
He peered around, as if lost, and then his eyes fell upon me. It was almost as if he recognized me, as if he’d been waiting all his life for me... but then realized he was mistaken, he didn’t know me at all – exactly that kind of double take.
He looked away, and then glanced back.
His eyes were dark, but when they settled on you it was as if you’d been fixed by a hawk. A raptor, eyeing his prey.
I shook myself, made myself look away. I couldn’t believe I was actually blushing.
Eyes meeting across a crowded gathering.
It was a cliché. I was flustered by my late arrival and by the tense undercurrents of the occasion.
That’s all it was.
Nothing more.
And yes, perhaps I protest too much.
The Object of His Desire is published on 1st July 2013, in paperback and ebook formats.
When Trudy goes to her estranged brother's wedding, the last thing she expects is one of those moments: a handsome stranger, their eyes meeting across a crowded room... a tempting, but dangerous stranger. Determined to find out more, she discovers that dark secrets bind him to her brother; she also learns that he's the kind of man who gets what he wants, and what he wants right now is Trudy.
Introducing her to the world of the super-wealthy, he showers her with designer clothes, shoes, and diamonds, whisking her off to dinner dates by private jet... what more could a girl want?
But as she finds out more about him, Trudy begins to wonder if she can ever love a man she can never fully trust. A man involved in murder and blackmail, who may just be using her as an alibi. Should she run or let herself fall for him? And will he give her a choice?
A passionate erotic romance, where scandals buried away in the past lead to murderous intrigue in the present, in the intensely steamy world of the super-wealthy and powerful.
An advance copy in the ebook format of your choice (as long as it's Kindle, epub or PDF!) will be sent to a randomly selected person who has either commented on this post (including an email address) or mailed me directly at pollyjadamswriter (at) gmail.com. There will also be an overall Grand Prize draw run by the blog hop organisers.

Pollygraph (interviews with romance and erotica authors): Tina Donahue
Deep Within Me, the follow-up to Come Fill Me, is out on 25th June. If you could summarize these books in a couple of sentences, what would you say?
Well, let’s see. Tales of danger, romance, suspense about two warring clans (in contemporary New Mexico) with paranormal powers that can heal or kill. There’s smokin’ hot sex, an Alpha hero to die for and a heroine who knows her mind and the guy she can’t live without.
Okay, that's a bit unfair, tell us more about these books. Here’s the blurb from each.
Will there be more to come in this series?
Definitely. I’ll be working on the next one within the coming months.
What attracts you to writing about the paranormal and mystical in your erotic and romantic fiction? What does that element of the fantastical bring to your work?
I’ve always been fascinated by the paranormal and mystical. Love the old Twilight Zone reruns. I thought it would be fun to wed the two – all those strange happenings with a satisfying romance – and see what happened.
Do you write in other genres, too? I’ve written in many subgenres of romance, including historical, contemporary, romantic comedy, suspense, ménage and mainstream.
Tell us about your experiences as an author. What have the big challenges and successes been?
The challenge is to make each story as fresh as possible, while also achieving deep POV. I know many readers believe that anyone can write a romance. That’s not true. It relies on emotions rather than chase scenes, explosions, violence, a mystery, etc. A romance writer has to get into the characters’ souls and put that on paper. Not easy.
For those novels that fans and critics have found to be the very best, the most satisfying, making them laugh, cry and grin in delight, I’ve won many industry awards.
What makes a good romance or erotic romance novel for you?The emotional bond between the hero (or heroes) and heroine. What makes them fall for each other. The challenges they face. The risks they’re willing to take to be together. It’s not about the sex for me, even though I pen erotic romances. It’s about the mind and soul. The sex is really the cherry on top of the sundae.
Tell us about other recent titles.
Do you have a favourite, or favourites, among your books?
I suppose that would be In His Arms. Its theme was sexual slavery, not an easy topic. However, I’ve received more fan letters about it than any of my other books. Every time I read parts of it, I still cry, the story moves me that much.
My other title that also stirs something deep within me is Illicit Desire, book two of my Outlawed Realm series. Its theme of a person’s desire for identity and freedom is also deeply felt.
What's a typical writing day for you?
I write every day except for Christmas and New Years. I get up very early – 2 am – and hit the keyboard until I have to go to my day job. When I return home, I write again.
Do you have any favourite erotica or romance authors?
Emma Holly really has a way with words – wow – that is one talented woman.
I’ve also enjoyed books by Adele Dubois, Cerise DeLand, Jean Hart Stewart, Fran Lee and Katalina Leon. Many of these ladies are resident Divas on my site Sweet n Sexy Divas.
And finally, beyond Deep Within Me, what can we expect to see from you soon?
I’m currently working on book four of my Outlawed Realm series for Samhain. After that I’ll be working on book four of my Appointment with Pleasure series with Ellora’s Cave.

Come Fill MeThe Prophecy, Book 1
Two men will stop at nothing to have her gift, her desire…and her love.
Years ago, with the healing abilities afforded by her blend of Aztec and extraterrestrial blood, Liz was free to do as she wished. Now she is trapped in a blood feud, forced to heal one of her clan’s most dangerous rivals so they can exploit his gift of prophecy.
As she drapes her nude body over his, the rush of his returning strength overwhelms her, and his stunningly sensual caress pushes her to her sexual limit.
Zeke Neekoma never expected to hunger for a woman he’s supposed to hate, but now that he’s tasted her, he has no intention of denying himself the pleasure of her body—or of kidnapping his enemy’s most cherished plaything.
Brought to Zeke’s stronghold to heal his brother, Jacob, Liz surrenders her body’s most traitorous needs to the unrestrained desires of two powerful men. And the brothers fill the lonely void she has too long endured.
But her clan doesn’t intend to let her go without a fight…and the ecstasy that binds Liz to her lovers could be the thing that breaks them.
PRODUCT WARNINGSWorlds collide when two Alpha males crave a woman they shouldn’t have. Their dominance and desire knows no limits, culminating in sex so torrid this babe’s never gonna be the same…or free of one brother’s touch. http://store.samhainpublishing.com/come-fill-p-7125.html
Deep Within MeUnrestrained desire…danger without end.The Prophecy, Book 2
For one agonizing moment, Zeke Neekoma thought his most feared vision had come true. Liz was lifeless in his arms, murdered by her own clan for one traitorous act—loving him. Then her father’s healing touch brought her back.
She hasn’t emerged from death unchanged. Now her healing gift leaves her drained, weak. Worse, Zeke is still tortured with visions of a woman covered in blood.
Liz aches for a future with Zeke, to always know the thrill of his body imprisoning hers with mindless pleasure. At her reanimation, she redoubles her determination to use her healing gifts to help his people—except Zeke refuses to allow her to use them.
But with her clan leader set to launch his next attack, Zeke and Jacob have no choice but to try to heal Liz with the same sensual force she used to save them. Yet it may not be enough to avert a merciless plan that will test Zeke’s humanity, risk Liz’s life—and threaten their timeless bond.
PRODUCT WARNINGSFeatures a determined hunk and a babe who won’t be tamed, loads of lusty sex including some menage, a ton of unrelenting peril, and love that knows no limit. In other words, a romance hot enough to vaporize steel.

Illicit Intent, erotic contemporary, recently released from Ellora’s Cave. It’s book three in my Appointment with Pleasure series. Here’s the blurb:
Book Three – Appointment with Pleasure series
What’s your wildest erotic wish?
For Piper, that’s easy. Two Alpha males who ravish her like marauding pirates and find her curves beyond luscious. She knows her type isn’t for every man…certainly not Guy and Joel, right? Guy’s tall, dark and sinfully virile. Joel’s blond and bronzed. They’re freaking gods, escorts her friend hired so Piper’s thirtieth birthday is unforgettable with the bondage and submission she’s fantasized about. Carnal games that awaken Piper’s sensuality, while her voluptuous figure and sweet vulnerability fuels both men’s animal hunger.
One evening of decadent pleasure isn’t enough. Piper aches to perform ménage acts with them for agency clients who like curvy women. A wicked idea, except for her family’s ties with law enforcement, the threat of exposure. Is it worth the risk?
Hell yeah. By day, she’ll be good. During their wanton acts, the three of them will explore their growing bond as they’re very, very bad…

And Shameless Desire, erotic paranormal, recently released from Samhain. It’s book three in my Outlawed Realm series. Here’s the blurb:
Passion without limit. Carnal hunger that knows no bounds.
Within Earth’s five dimensions, nothing is as it seems…and desire is never far away.
In E4’s jungle, Kuma was the Alpha werewolf, bent on revenge against the hated guards. Swept with them into the E1 dimension, now he prowls Seattle at night, stopping the thugs from abducting women for use as sex slaves in E4’s Pleasure Palace.
On her way home from her nursing job, Gwen senses danger in the night’s shadows—an instant before a stranger attacks. Clinging to consciousness, she watches the impossible, a wolf fighting him off…protecting her. She wakes in her own bed, convinced it must have been a dream until she sees Kuma in human form. Virile, intense. A man like no other.
Within his powerful embrace, Gwen experiences rapture she didn’t believe existed. His unrestrained lust and burning need end her loneliness, though not the menace they face. The guards are a constant threat in their hunt for women and their determination to see Kuma dead. Together, he and Gwen must fight—for his life, her freedom, their future.
PRODUCT WARNINGSOut-of-this-world sex and a romance to die for. Features a hunk whose inner beast won’t be tamed, and the woman who craves his most shameless desire.

Tuesday Tease: another steamy extract (#erotica #sexystories)

Something juicy. Something to set the pulse racing. Something you don't want to stop...
Yes, it's the Tuesday Tease: a series of super-short extracts from the point in a story where things are getting hot and steamy!
She didn't get a chance to reach the bed before they were on her. Arms around her. Hands on her. Pulling her and pushing her in all directions. Spinning round as if she were a top.
Men, all around her, suddenly. Bare flesh against hers. A tight embrace from behind, a hairy, muscled chest against her back. The buckle of a belt against the base of her spine, bulging pants against her ass.
Hands on her breasts. Where had her bra gone? Squeezing hard, painfully so. She cried out, and then fingers pinched her nipples and it turned into a different kind of cry.
Everything was a blur: faces all around her, naked flesh as the guys stripped. Black flesh, brown flesh, tanned white, pale white.
A hand at the back of her head turned her and then a mouth met hers: soft, sensuous lips, a minty, chewing gum taste, the tongue driving deep into her mouth with a touch so hard and firm she just wanted that tongue inside her, right now.
And then a hand cupped her pussy, the grip strong, fingers pressing up against the fabric of her thong, pressing hard between her pussy lips. The grip was so powerful, it made her gasp, so strong she was almost lifted off her feet.
The guy behind her: he'd dropped his pants now, and his dick was upright against her back, lubricated by pre-come or spit, she didn't know what.
This thing really was happening!
She remembered the words that had started it all.
"I need to be fucked."
This tease comes from "Flash Mob Gangbang", available in the bundle Three's Company: three stories of group sex and multiple partners:

Review: Iniquitous Solace: The Aftermath by Penelope Jones

Erotica strives to use the right words but, to be blunt, it uses a Hell of a lot more strokes to paint that picture! Good erotica builds up and teases, and describes; it fills in the gaps that poetry leaves.
The poetry of Penelope Jones combines the best of both forms, deftly drawing the reader in deep with beautiful economy and leading the way through a story of longing, uncertainty, vulnerability. The poetry is often harsh and crude, but it's a crudeness wielded quite deliberately, a rawness that is channelled to striking effect. Iniquitous Solace: The Aftermath is full of poems with a dark, sensuous edge, a sequence of pieces that draws the reader into a fragmented portrait of a woman's journey through need and desire, through being wanted and dominated and abandoned. It's moving and powerful, explicit and erotic, and ultimately, defiant and spirited.
And highly recommended.

Demanding people - characters who come to life #romance #writing

You'd think so, right?
But for me, one of the most exciting things in writing is that moment when you suddenly realise you're following people and events, reporting on them rather than pulling the strings. Times when it becomes a matter of how fast you can type to keep up with what's happening. Times when what might have been a secondary character suddenly demands their turn in the spotlight.
It was like this with Four Temptations (published as four separate stories, and now collected in a single volume, in print and ebook formats from the lovely James Grieve Press).
I'd been working on two series and decided to take some time out to write a standalone story. I settled on the story of Rebecca. Her husband has walked out, leaving his best friend Simon to pick up the pieces. Originally it was to be a straightforward story of an affair with a man Rebecca should never have turned to, a revenge fling. Nothing more than that.
But then Rebecca went for drinks with her old friend Maggie, and as soon as Maggie opened her mouth I knew she had a story to tell. Maggie is a writer who had split up with her ex some time ago, but now is thrown back in his direction. Should she take another chance with him?
Two stories, both centred around the idea of temptation, two women being drawn to men they really should steer clear of. There had to be more to this, and again, when Ellie - the woman who had come between Rebecca and her husband - made her first appearance, I immediately knew that I'd met one of my favourite characters.
Here's an extract from the opening of Ellie's story:
Porter Swaine. Always the flash guy, the boy with the toys, the self-made man who liked to ruffle feathers. He was full of himself, distracted by his success, and when it came to women he had the willpower of a gnat. He was also – aren’t they always? – married.I knew all that before I’d even met him.He sounded like exactly my kind of man. What's not to love? It was such fun to write about a character who did some pretty awful things and make her sympathetic and - to me, at least - immensely likeable.
It doesn't always happen that way.
You know when you meet someone new? Sometimes things click immediately and you know it's someone you'll be friends with; other times it's a slower process, getting to know someone, gradually peeling away the layers. That's how it is when you make people up, too, and I love how everyone is different.

Four Temptations - an erotic romance from PJ Adams

1. The Tipping Point: Rebecca's husband has walked out, leaving his best friend Simon to pick up the pieces. Rebecca has never seen Simon as anything other than a friend until now; certainly not as a lover. But now the seed of possibility has been sown, should she? Shouldn't she? And can she even resist?
2. Words of Love: Is Rebecca's friend Maggie really considering getting back together with her old flame two years after a vitriolic break-up? Does even a small part of her believe that they can make it work this time round?
3. The Other Woman: Ellie is in her early twenties. She's slim and blonde, she has perfect cheekbones, big blue eyes, perfect shape, legs to die for. She's Rebecca’s worst nightmare and her husband’s wet dream.
4. A Woman Scorned: They say revenge is best served up cold. Maybe. In Rebecca Swaine's experience revenge is best served up in a public place with a large glass of Pinot Gris. A steamy, passionate story of love and revenge.
