Renegade
Been using my newly released stamp sets from PaperArtsy to create a series of vintage collages.
The focal point in this one is the largest stamp from the 4 included in my Eclectica Stamp Set 6
This image, as all of the stamps in the set, was designed based on elements of my artwork.
Like much of my art, this collage includes a number of found and altered metal embellishments.
RENEGADE
This piece uses all 4 stamps in my new Eclectica Stamp Set 6 available in my online shop.
Head to the PaperArtsy blog to learn more about the stamps and to see how they have been used by other artists.

Memories
I have enjoyed playing with my newly released stamp sets from PaperArtsy.
Since they were all designed based on artwork that I have previously made, it was quite fun to use the elements in a different way
I was channeling a vintage vibe in this piece.
Many of the elements were made by stamping onto vintage paper and then cutting the stamped images into smaller bits.
Even used my line of Fresco Finish Acrylic Paint colors from PaperArtsy to create a look of textured rust.
MEMORIES
Created using all 5 stamps from my new Eclectica Stamp Set 5 available in my online shop.
Head to the PaperArtsy blog to learn more about the stamps and to see how they have been used by other artists.

NEW PaperArtsy Stamp Sets
It's new release week for me and first up are these...
I am excited to share with you my newest stamp sets designed for and releases by PaperArtsy. Each stamp was designed based on elements from my own artwork created in my NYC studio.
Eclectica Set 5
Eclectica Set 6
All stamps are deeply etched, red rubber cling and perfect for mixed media art. I think they capture the detail, dimension and texture from the original work very well.
I am featuring some artwork created using these new stamps on the PaperArtsy blog.

Stamps are available at many online outlets and art/craft shops and can also be ordered directly from my online shop.

#ARTifacts: May 2017
Artifacts (plural noun): objects made by a human being, typically an item of cultural or historical interest.
ARTifacts (plural noun): a collaborative project for 2017 documenting adventures in art.
Every year I have so many "art memories" from my travels, my teaching, my adventures in NYC, and my studio work. I have decided that 2017 will be the year of ARTifacts where I document my adventures in art for the entire year in a physical book. Always wanting to be inclusive, I turned my project into a no-rules collaboration.
Participants were asked to find or make some sort of artist book, planner, scrapbook, 3-ring-binder, folder, or other container to document their creative experiences, whether they be in art, craft, or anything else. As you can see below, each and every participant put their own creative twist on this project. And it is never too late to join. Email me at shap97@gmail.com if you would like to participate.
