Tonight’s special edition of Storytime is brought to you by the thoughtfulness of my sweet daughter Sophie who surprised me with a gift of childhood doll I cherished and adored as a little girl. Many, many hours were spent playing pretend with Strawberry Shortcake and her band of sweet-smelling friends!
I have been taking a stroll down memory lane all morning as the scent of strawberries brings me back fun and fond childhood memories.

Dearest Lovelies…I’m sorry. ❤️
There will be no Storytime Live today. Alas, I am on the west coast and I
won’t be finishing up a school visit until 4pm, which means it’s 7pm on the east coast. I had high hopes, but without a teleportation device immediately to my hotel upon ending my visit I cannot make it.
I will miss you until next week and to make up for it, I promise an EXTRA SPECIAL STORYTIME LIVE!

Yesterday was filled with so many amazing, lovely, beautiful, inspiring and truly MAGICAL children and adults. They lit my heart up inside like SUNSHINE. I’m still processing what happened because it still feels like such a dream!

Whatif Monster at Mall of America! Tuesday, February 2, 2016 starting about 10:45am eastern/9:45am central!
Watch LIVE as I present at Mall of America in Minnesota!
This is a last minute idea and it won’t necessarily be super duper professional, but how FUN will it be to have all of you be able to watch me present on Toddler Tuesday at the LARGEST MALL IN AMERICA! Dude! This mall is so big it has its OWN ZIP CODE!
And I’m presenting there!!
I don’t know how the internet connections will be, and it might be a bit loud, camera might be a bit shakey, but boy HOWDY, I bet it will be fun!
Filming will start about 9:45am Central time and last until about 12pm or so – maybe with breaks – maybe not. I’m not sure. I still have to find a cameraman. LOL!

Mall of America – Toddler Tuesdays! Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 10am!
Hello lovely and awesome people! I just wanted to let you know about a very special presentation I am going to be doing at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota for Toddler Tuesdays! on February 2, 2016.
In case you didn’t know, this is the BIGGEST mall in America! It has a Nickelodeon Universe, SEA LIFE Minnesota Aquarium, Theaters, the Children’s Museum, The Lego Store, Universe of Light, American Girl store…and now… The WHATIF MONSTER! (and lil’ ol’ me.)
I will be presenting at 10am and again at 11am and signing books at the end of both presentations. A little birdie told me we will be giving away Whatif Monster ears too! HOW FUN IS THAT?!
If you are in the area, I hope you can come by and see me and say hello! If you can’t, I will totally miss you and understand. But please share this event with any of your friends in the area – it is gonna be SO MUCH FUN! Promise!!

For the Tuscaloosa Kids
For the kids who asked me what my first oil painting I ever did was. I promised I’d post it on my website for y’all to see.
Here it is in all it’s glory. I think I was 14 or 15 when I did this. Thank you Ms. Dunn for teaching me how to paint. You changed my whole life.
And thank you to the awesome kids at Martin Luther King Elementary, Central Elementary, Brookwood Elementary and The Capitol School. Y’all changed my whole life too. We all are connected – and we all just make each other so much MORE. Love you guys! ❤️
