Paris’ Past in the Pantheon
Walking into the Pantheon an extraordinary, landmark building on Paris’ left bank.
Enjoying an evening meal in an apartment on Rue Lafayette, my hostess Sasha, another guest and I, talked about Paris, the wonderful Haussmann apartment we were in and the disappearance of much of Paris’ history that resulted from the renovation of the city between 1853 and 1870.

Cancun in Photos
All paths lead to the beach at Sunset Marina Resort & Yacht Club.
I traveled to Mexico for the first time in December. While Cancun is only a 4-hour flight from Toronto, and most people I know have visited the country more than once, I somehow had never made the trip.
While I don’t think that what I saw of Cancun is particularly representative of Mexican culture – I heard it referred to as the Las Vegas of Mexico – I got enough of a taste to make me want to see more. Much more.
