Teen Art exhibit and contest -- Healing Through Creativity
For a grieving teen, the creative process can provide an outlet for self-expression and an opportunity to be heard by others. In partnership with the New York Life Foundation, an exhibition showcasing a selection of inspiring, original work addressing grief and bereavement by teens is on display in hospices and grief centers nationwide.
These works were submitted to the Awards' New York Life Award, as part of the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, which recognizes the stories of young people and their experiences with losing a loved one. The link below provides exhibit locations.
