What is shame? Shame is given to me by you. Shame says I don't like this behavior, idea, belief,,, so you can't be that. Shame says I'm uncomfortable so you can't be that. Shame says you can't, you shouldn't, you mustn't, Shame says; you're embarrassing Me so stop it. Shame says; you are making me look bad so stop it. Shame says; YOU are the problem, YOU need to change, YOU need to stop. Shame says; you should feel bad about what you did for the rest of your life. Shame says...
Love Says; you made a mistake, it's ok, let me help you learn from it, Love says; it's ok to have a different viewpoint, belief, or lifestyle than me. Love says; how you live your life is not a reflection of me therefore you are free to live how YOU want. Love says it's all ok. Love says there is no right or wrong there only is. Love says; love is unconditional. Love says shame may be given to you but LOVE IS WHO YOU ARE!
