Reissuing my first books!
Exciting times this week as I am reissuing my first two books, my novel Doll and collection of short stories, No Love is This. Both are now out on Kindle for the first time, and will be rereleased in paperback with new covers in mid-autumn,
These books are *very* different from Bridesmaid Blues and Dark Dates - they are dark, contemporary fiction, and though they hopefully have some humour in them, it's much drier than the sexy snark of my more recent books.
Still, I hope you like them - fans of working class writers, northern voices and complicated female protagonists, these are the books for you!

All change
It's been a very busy time, so I've been neglecting this page!
First up was a blog tour of Bridesmaid Blues, to celebrate the relaunch, Organised by Anne Cater's Random Things Tour, it was a huge amount of fun, and massive thanks to all the lovely bloggers who were involved.
But the big news is I have moved! After 5 years in Brighton, and almost 20 down south, I have moved back to Newcastle. To mark the occasion, I have started a blog: http://prodigalgeordie.blog
Feel free to follow along...

Bridesmaid Blues relaunch
As the eagle eyed among you may have noticed, I have issued a shiny new cover for my Newcastle-set romcom The Bridesmaid Blues.
I love the new cover - it features papercut art by local North East artist Brittany Coxon, whose work I have long admired - I have a couple of her pictures in my living room! - and I think it captures the fun and freshness of the book perfectly.
As a bonus, it almost looks 3D on the actual paperback!
You can see the new cover (including the gorgeous back cover detail) here: https://darkdates.org/2018/05/10/new-...

Dark Dates tote bags
Sometimes, you have to do stuff just because it's a fun thing to do. So, as a fun summer project I decided to work with my long-term publishing collaborator Caroline Goldsmith to create some Dark Date tote bags!
