‘Into the Americas’ on special now at 99cents

The top rating historical adventure INTO THE AMERICAS (A novel based on a true story)  is rising up Amazon’s rankings and is currently available at the special Kindle promo price of 99cents.

Into the Americas (A novel based on a true story)

Into the Americas  is a gritty, real-life adventure based on one of history’s greatest survival stories. It was inspired by the diary entries of young English blacksmith John Jewitt during his time aboard the brigantine The Boston and also during his sojourn at Nootka Sound, on North America’s western seaboard, from 1802 to 1805.

Nineteen year-old blacksmith John Jewitt is one of only two survivors after his crewmates clash with the fierce Mowachaht tribe in the Pacific Northwest. A life of slavery awaits John and his fellow survivor, a belligerent American sailmaker, in a village ruled by the iron fist of Maquina, the all-powerful chief. Desperate to taste freedom again, they make several doomed escape attempts over mountains and sea. Only their value to the tribe and John’s relationship with Maquina prevents their captors from killing them.

As the seasons pass, John ‘goes Indian’ after falling in love with Eu-stochee, a beautiful maiden. This further alienates him from his fellow captive whose defiance leads to violent consequences. In the bloodshed that follows, John discovers another side to himself – a side he never knew existed and a side he detests. His desire to be reunited with the family and friends he left behind returns even stronger than before.

The stakes rise when John learns Eu-stochee is pregnant. When a final opportunity to escape arises, he must choose between returning to civilization or staying with Eu-stochee and their newborn son.

Cancer remains the big killer, but what’s being done about it? (Part 3)

In MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX: The $ickness Industry, Big Pharma and Suppressed Cures, we focus on alternative methods for treating cancer – natural healing methods which do not involve mainstream medicine’s patented (and highly profitable) chemo and radiation therapies.

Following on from our recent (November 15) post on this subject, here’s another excerpt from a chapter titled “Finding (hiding) a cure for cancer” lifted from Medical Industrial Complex:

One who believes olive leaf extract can fight or even prevent cancer is a UK gentleman who is a member of our ‘Underground Knowledge’ discussion group on Goodreads.com. He speaks from some experience as he claims he battled back to full fitness after being hospitalized for four months with a rare condition. He’s convinced his recovery was down to olive leaf extract, which he took in conjunction with hemp oil and Vitamin D.

Our own investigation into the merits of using olive leaf extract to combat cancer proved productive. Among the many papers published on the subject, a report by health writer Danica Collins on the UndergroundHealthReporter.com site claims that “The phytochemical known as oleuropein found in olive leaf extract has been shown to eliminate cancer tumors in 9 to 12 days”.

Collins says, “It’s no wonder that people who live in the Mediterranean area — who consume 20 times more olive oil than Americans — have half the incidences of cancer than the U.S. Both the olive leaf and olive fruit have active polyphenol properties, but in the processing of the fruit and oil, many are removed.

“Even so, olive oil contains enough polyphenols that deliver many healthful benefits. It is the olive leaf, however, that is prized for its anti-tumor, anti-microbial and anti-viral properties. And it’s not just cancer that olive leaf extract has been shown to treat successfully”.

She concludes, “Clinical tests conducted by the New York University School of Medicine showed that olive leaf extract is able to change the pathways of HIV-type infections as well, and may even reverse these conditions”.

Collins also refers to a book titled Olive Leaf Extract, by Dr. Morton Walker who, she says, recommends using olive leaf extract for its miraculous effects on more than 125 infectious and chronic diseases. (We couldn’t obtain a copy of this book before our own book went to press, but it sounds interesting).

The health benefits of olive leaf extract are also extoled in an article published by Fox News on January 23, 2013. It confirms that “Olive leaf is an especially good source of the anti-cancer compounds apigenin and luteolin, and is a source of the anti-malarial agent cinchonine. And oleuropein has also shown protective capabilities against breast cancer”.

The article continues, “Olive leaf extract also acts as an anti-inflammatory. Like oxidation, inflammation is a key factor in chronic and degenerative diseases. Animal studies additionally suggest that olive leaf extract may protect against nerve damage, and may be of value in cases of stroke”.

The popular science-based natural health advocacy organization Natural News, led by activist-turned-scientist Mike Adams, lists on its website “The top seven natural cures for cancer that got buried by the FDA, AMA, CDC.” Detailed case studies supporting each “cure” are included in an article dated October 24, 2013 on the organization’s NaturalNews.com site.

One of the above-mentioned case studies in particular is worth highlighting. It involves the alleged payoff of a cancer researcher to cease work on natural cures and retire in Mexico.

According to the article, the researcher, one Raymond Rife, “discovered the most promising cure for curing ‘hopeless’ cancer cases.” He also designed and developed cutting edge microscopes and helium plasma lamps to support his research.

No surprises Rife was resented by Big Pharma and Western medicine elitists in the medical community.

The article outlines a timeline showing Rife’s demise as follows:

“The AMA (American Medical Association) visits all doctors involved with Rife warning them: ‘Those who don’t stop using the Frequency Instruments lose their medical license.’ Doctors immediately turn in their Rife Machines for fear of indictment”. And (the following year) “the AMA pays (Rife’s associate Dr. Arthur) Kendall over $200,000 to stop working on cancer cures and retire in Mexico”.

Dr. Kendall, incidentally, reportedly died of “unknown causes” five years later, and two years after that, according to the same article, Rife “turns to alcohol, eventually needing rehabilitation”.

The list of other supposed cancer cures said to have been suppressed is long enough to fill a whole book. These range from Cannabidiol, the little-known medical compound found in Marijuana, to a treatment that involves ingesting nothing other than regular household baking soda.

In 2009 Hollywood celebrity and cancer survivor Suzanne Somers wrote about natural cancer cures in her book Knockout: Interviews with Doctors Who Are Curing Cancer and How To Prevent Getting it in the First Place.

The synopsis for the book mentions that “Somers interviews doctors who are successfully using the most innovative cancer treatments—treatments that build up the body rather than tear it down.”

Knockout also outlines an array of effective, alternative treatment options from doctors all over the United States. Treatments that do not involve chemotherapy or radiation and which primarily focus on building up the immune system.

The book’s synopsis also mentions the “stunning testimonials from inspirational survivors using alternative treatments”.

In a 2010 interview she gave on News Max TV, Somers spoke about her personal experience beating cancer and the wider research she conducted on alternative cures while writing Knockout.

“I would talk to these (alternative) doctors, interview them, and I would say to each of them ‘it’s all well and good for you to tell me this, but I need to talk to your patients’. They opened up their patients to me. I talked to Stage Four lung cancer, liver cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, brain tumors – all these people living these normal, healthy lives having not been degraded by harsh chemicals. And I realized that there is another way that none of us know about.”

The other way, of course, includes alternative, natural healing methods which do not involve the Medical Industrial Complex’s patented (and highly profitable) chemo and radiation therapies.

INTO THE AMERICAS — “Awesome!” according to Great Historical Fiction Book Reviews

Historical Novel Review

Mirella Patzer, of Great Historical Fiction Book Reviews, has this to say about our historical adventure INTO THE AMERICAS (A novel based on a true story):

I have been an avid follower of all books by these authors, thoroughly loving each book. This book was no exception. There is a beautiful cadence to the story, flowing at a perfect pace while striking an easy balance between detail and plot.

The characters, especially the protagonist and his cohort, are fascinating in every aspect. They are deeply complex with differing motivations as they struggle to survive as slaves of the native people. Of course there is a bit of a romance, although that is a small contribution to the plot.

What I enjoyed most is that it is based on the true story of John Jewitt, the son of an English blacksmith who sailed on The Boston and was captured by the Indians and later escaped. Of all the Morcan novels, this is by far my favourite. It is understandable why this was chosen to be made into film! An awesome tale!

‘Bankrupting the Third World’ questions whether Third World aid isn’t actually giving, but taking

Western nations are extremely generous in assisting the development of the Third World, and they are never shy of giving vast sums to poorer nations in times of need. But what if much of this aid is not charitable, but selfish? What if it isn’t actually giving, but taking? What if most of the generosity has serious strings attached – strings designed to fleece vulnerable nations? We ask these questions, and more, in our new release book BANKRUPTING THE THIRD WORLD: How the Global Elite Drown Poor Nations in a Sea of Debt.

Africa’s poor…drowning in a sea of debt.

The following excerpt from Bankrupting the Third World  examines the motives behind the “generosity” extended to Third World nations:

Few would argue that Third World countries get a raw deal. To highlight just one industry on one continent, blockbuster movies like the Leonardo DiCaprio-headlined ‘Blood Diamond’ have spotlighted the corruption that flourishes in Africa’s multi-trillion dollar diamond industry.

However, we are aware that to suggest the likes of the IMF and the World Bank are scams designed to subjugate Third World countries may sound ridiculous. Right? Well, do the research and you’ll find, as we did, that many globalization commentators concur the suggestion is not remotely ridiculous…

Our alternative version of international aid suggests that money given or loaned by international organizations like the IMF and the World Bank is no different to banks dolling out credit cards to individual customers. And just as banks offer credit to customers so that they (the banks) can make money, this theory also suggests these big, so-called aid organizations are purely profit-motivated and not remotely charitable.

Let’s explore this comparison a little deeper…

Banks know that some customers will pay off their credit cards quickly without incurring much interest. They also know a small percentage will have to be written off as bad debts, and they allow for this in their profit forecasts.

However, the vast majority of customers who take on new credit cards will be indebted to the bank for months, years or even for the rest of their lives. Some of these customers will manage, barely, while some will be completely snowed under and one step away from bankruptcy.

Banks make the bulk of their profits by keeping most of their customers in this perpetual cycle of paying off interest, and that’s why they regularly offer customers more credit – even, or especially, customers who are already having trouble getting themselves out of the debt cycle and who can least afford it.

Following this analogy, on the international stage the World Bank, the IMF and First World governments are the equivalent of smaller, personal banks, and impoverished Third World nations are the equivalent of customers accepting and using credit cards.

Overall, the rules are virtually identical: foster a reliance on credit amongst those you lend to then ensure the interest rates are so extreme the debt can never be paid off.

Once impoverished Third World nations are beholden to lenders, First World governments and their allied corporations regularly demand favors in return. Those favors include relinquishing political control or simply turning a blind eye to the plunder of natural resources, or both.

Manipulating the power structure of countries is done in a multitude of ways, including rigging elections, making under-the-table payments and organizing political assassinations.

When these nations are crushed, enslaved even, beneath mountains of debt, this creates enormous ongoing revenues for the lenders through high interest rates. It also allows for untold injustices to be perpetrated by major multinational corporations – injustices such as oil companies pumping toxins into rivers, logging companies destroying entire forests, pharmaceutical giants performing illegal human experimentation, manufacturers hiring people to work in inhumane conditions in sweat shops, and in some cases employing child labor.

Wall Street shenanigans highlighted in ‘INTERNATIONAL BANKSTER$’

When researching INTERNATIONAL BANKSTER$: The Global Banking Elite Exposed and the Case for Restructuring Capitalism – Book #5 in our Underground Knowledge Series – the following comment by American business magnate Warren Buffet got us thinking: “If a graduating MBA student were to ask me, ‘How do I get rich in a hurry?’ I would not respond with quotations from Ben Franklin or Horatio Alger, but would instead hold my nose with one hand and point with the other toward Wall Street.”

Now when the man recognized as the world’s most successful investor speaks, you gotta take note, right? So we did, and we included our own critique of Wall Street bankers in INTERNATIONAL BANKSTER$, in a chapter somewhat appropriately titled ‘Banksters on the rampage.’

An excerpt from the chapter follows:

In an article dated November 23, 2014 in USA Today, columnist John Maxfield predicts “There will come a time in the not-too-distant future when Wall Street banks won’t be regularly chastised for ripping off customers, defrauding the federal and state governments, facilitating tax evasion, laundering money for sworn enemies of the United States, and manipulating bond, interest rate, foreign-exchange, and energy markets. When this time comes, however, it shouldn’t be interpreted as a sign that things have changed”.

Maxfield says, “Between 2012 and 2013, eight banks – UBS, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Rabobank, Deutsche Bank, Societe Generale, Barclays, JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup – paid $6 billion to settle allegations that they manipulated the London interbank offered rate benchmark, one of the most widely tracked interest rate indexes in the world”.

Among the examples he lists, from 2013, is a combined US$9.3 billion payment from “more than a dozen banks… to make amends for systematically submitting fraudulent documents to courts in foreclosure proceedings”.

Maxfield says, “Thus, the question is whether these practices are indeed isolated incidences of employee misconduct, as the banks would like us to believe, or instead whether they’re indicative of a pattern of behavior that’s endemic on Wall Street. I suspect it’s the latter”.

He concludes, “Of course, it’s impossible to forensically prove that corruption is woven into the fabric of Wall Street banks – and, specifically, at companies with significant trading operations where the temptation to skirt the rules seems to be greatest. That’s certainly what history suggests. And it’s also what the ongoing regulatory assault on the industry implies. But, again, there is no way to quantitatively demonstrate this.

“But what we can say is that there is a noxious air of impropriety that has enveloped these operations. And, rightly or wrongly, this reputational baggage subjects shareholders of these banks to more risk than, at least in my opinion, is warranted by any reasonable estimate of future returns”.

As Maxfield implies, the major Wall Street banks seem to have fraudulent activities down to a science and it’s often virtually impossible to detect the sleight of hand in their activities.

New release book ‘Underground Bases’ analyzes what’s beneath our feet

What do the world’s superpowers get up to in their secret underground bunkers? We endeavor to answer that question in UNDERGROUND BASES: Subterranean Military Facilities and the Cities Beneath Our Feet, book seven in The Underground Knowledge Series.

Underground Bases ebook cover

Underground Bases  details confirmed and rumored underground facilities in the United States and around the world. Containing rare photographic evidence throughout as well as little-known quotes from key government figures, it makes a compeling case for there being an enormous hidden world under the Earth’s surface.

We suggest the covert underground infrastructure may be far bigger than anyone has previously supposed and is likely used for the development of suppressed technologies. Our sources include declassified files, university reports, WikiLeaks’ documents and interviews with ex-military personnel turned whistleblowers who claim to have worked in “cities below ground”.

Underground Bases  delivers a vast array of facts and theories that ultimately allows readers to form their own conclusions. The exposé covers everything from: the US Department of Defense’s verified evacuation areas beneath the White House and the Pentagon as well as their acknowledged sites at Mount Weather and Cheyenne Mountain; underground facilities around the world including Russia’s sprawling Mezhgorye complex and Australia’s CIA-managed Pine Gap; the long-forgotten newspaper headlines which reported that Adolf Hitler and senior SS officers may have built a Nazi colony beneath Antarctica after WW2; rumors that human-alien joint ventures are occurring below ground and that kidnapped citizens are being detained in subterranean prisons for illegal medical experimentation such as cloning.

Why are the Global Elite spending trillions of dollars of their black budgets to build such vast networks of underground (and undersea and under-ice) sites? Are they simply preparing for emergencies as per official government explanations? Do they believe an Armageddon scenario is imminent? Are they secretly collaborating with extraterrestrials? Or, are they literally creating a breakaway civilization separate to the rest of humanity?

To attempt to address these and other questions, Underground Bases  takes readers on a vicarious journey into miles-deep military bases and other subterranean facilities not known to the general public.

Majority of poll respondents report near-death or other ESP experiences

Interim results in the latest poll in our Underground Knowledge discussion group on Goodreads.com  reveals nearly two thirds of poll respondents claim to have experienced ESP or Extra Sensory Perception (e.g. Remote Viewing, Near Death Experiences, precognition, out-of-body experiences, telepathy, seeing auras etc).

To date, in response to the question Have you ever experienced ESP? poll results show 61% say YES; some 30% say NO; and 9% are UNSURE.

Poll respondents’ comments make for interesting reading. Here’s a sample selection of those comments:

Damn, I just realized this poll began on Friday the 13th :)

I have an interesting theory…Leading neuroscience theorists now believe that consciousness lies at a subatomic quantum level. If so, it would make the brain the greatest biological quantum field generator ever created. At the quantum level, time does not exist. Whatever has, is or will happen already theoretically has. If your consciousness can tap into the universe on a quantum level, theoretically we all have the capability to create our own “Spidey Senses”.

Some theorists even believe that we remember forward, so in effect we are living in a world that has already occurred and we constantly are in a state of catching up. I think that this is a great theory and it would make sense if you view it in terms of ESP, or clairvoyance. “Future Memory”.

Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda is one of the best books I’ve read on this subject. Interestingly, this was Steve Jobs’ favorite book. At Jobs’ funeral, all attendees were given a copy of the book and it was the only book he ever downloaded onto his iPad…

Out of body experience twice, and auras frequently. Auras are common in people who have seizures, they can before a seizure and also have a feeling of deja vu. You basically know it is coming before it happens.

Lots of fascinating experiences mentioned here that i wish i could experience out of curiosity. I still think that before looking outward into the universe, we have to rule out that it’s not solely caused within our own neural network.

I was clinically dead for a short period on Oct. 19, 1996. It was enough to lead me to make major changes in my life. Death of this body is NOT the end of our existence.

Two near death experiences and one I was actually dead on way into operating theatre!

Cancer remains the big killer, but what’s being done about it? (Part 2)

In our book MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX: The $ickness Industry, Big Pharma and Suppressed Cures, we emphasise that mainstream medicine should not be so quick to dismiss claims of alternative treatments and cures for cancer.

Following on from our recent (November 4) post on this emotional subject, here’s another excerpt from a chapter titled “Finding (hiding) a cure for cancer” lifted from Medical Industrial Complex:

The American Cancer Society is even more conservative in its stance on alternative cancer treatments. AMC’s website states that complementary or alternative cancer therapies are harder to evaluate than mainstream treatment.

Image result for american cancer society logo

AMC states, “One big concern is that, with alternative treatments, the delay in mainstream treatment can allow the cancer to grow and spread to other parts of the body. Another is that some complementary and alternative therapies have been reported to cause serious problems or even deaths. Even so, most of these problems are not reported to the FDA by the patient or family, so no one else hears about them.

“We do know that certain vitamins and minerals can increase the risk of cancer or other illnesses, especially if too much is taken. But when it happens to one person, it is very easy to miss any link between the illness and the supplement. Large groups of people must be studied to find out about a small increase in risk”.

The AMC report continues, “There are those who think that treatments derived from folk remedies that have been used for thousands of years must work…just because a treatment method has been used a long time does not mean that it works…

“When scientific studies are not done, it is hard to tell what is caused by the illness and what is caused by the treatment. Herbal treatments that are given for illnesses that go away on their own may be given credit for curing the person. Or the treatment might make the person feel better for a short time but have no effect in the long run”.

All good points, but it doesn’t remotely change the cold, hard fact that cancer patients working within the mainstream medical system continue to succumb to the deadly disease in frightening and ever-increasing numbers. Or that no cure for cancer appears to be on the horizon within mainstream Western medicine.

What follows is a sample of alternative cancer cure theories we’ve unearthed as a result of conducting our own research.

In the 1920’s, Canadian nurse Rene Caisse developed a natural concoction of herbs called Essiac. Nurse Caisse claimed it could cure cancer and she garnered many testimonials from satisfied patients said to be cancer-free after taking the product. Laboratory tests did not confirm Essiac offered any benefits whatsoever, but conspiracy theorists argue the lab tests were rigged and that Big Pharma flexed its muscle to shut Caisse down.

Rene Caisse

Nurse Rene Caisse…shut down.

In the 1940’s, German-born American physician Max Gerson (1881-1959) developed a nutrition-based cancer treatment called Gerson Therapy.

After repeatedly claiming his therapy cured cancer, Doctor Gerson had his medical license suspended and he died while still under suspension. Although now a maligned and mostly forgotten cancer treatment in America, it remains popular in Mexico where there are Gerson clinics in operation, treating local and foreign cancer patients.

In the 1950’s, American coal miner Harry Hoxsey promoted his family’s century-old herbal recipe, which he touted as a cancer cure. He set up clinics in 17 states around America before all were closed down by the FDA. Hoxsey made a rare documentary film in 1957 called You Don’t Have to Die, which detailed his cure and covered the patients he treated with it. There’s a more recent documentary titled Hoxsey: How Healing Becomes a Crime, which chronicles his battles with what the docomakers refer to as organized medicine.

In the 1980’s, Italian medical doctor, chemist and pharmacologist Luigi di Bella (1912-2003) claimed to have developed a cure for cancer known as Di Bella Therapy. The formula was a combination of vitamins, drugs and hormones.

Luigi di Bella at work.

The American Cancer Society says on its website that numerous studies showed Di Bella Therapy “may have had a negative effect compared to the outcome for similar patients receiving standard treatment”. However, there are some alternative medical researchers who believe Di Bella therapy was a legitimate cancer cure that was permanently quashed by the medical establishment.

Despite the extremely negative press garnered in Italy and the rest of the world there are, or were, cancer patients who swore by Di Bella Therapy and gave testimonials. For example, on the website BeatingCancerCenter.org  is the following statement: “For about three years, the patient has been following the Di Bella therapy without side effects, improving the quality of life and going back to work.”

Luigi di Bella himself consistently stated that pharmaceutical companies were conspiring against him.

Action packed excerpt from true-life novel a flashback to life as it was in the Pacific Northwest

In the following excerpt from our historical adventure INTO THE AMERICAS (A novel based on a true story)  young English seaman John Jewitt and American sailmaker Jonathan Thompson are pursued by Mowachaht savages as they cross Vancouver Island’s snow-covered mountain ranges in their attempt to reach the Strait of Georgia.

Anxious to catch sight of the escapees before nightfall, Maquina was keen to resume the chase. To his eyes, it was obvious their quarry had descended to the stream at the foot of the hill and then waded upstream, or possibly downstream, so as to leave no tracks. However, Katlahtik suspected otherwise. The tracker motioned to Maquina to study the false tracks more closely.

Mowachaht chief Maquina

Joining Katlahtik, the chief immediately saw what his tracker had noticed: on close inspection it was evident the borders of some of the tracks overlapped, signaling that whoever had made the tracks had stepped into the same tracks again.

Maquina smiled to himself. “The White-Faces have learnt much from us,” he said, looking eastward, “yet they still have much to learn.”

The chief set off after the escapees, his warriors in tow. They moved quickly now.

#

John and Thompson fought their way through dense undergrowth as they entered the timberline of the mountain range they’d just crossed. Aware they’d soon run out of daylight, they made haste, anxious to find a place to overnight before darkness finally descended.

Englishman John Jewitt…in later life.

The escapees were unaware they’d entered the territory of the Ehattesaht tribe, a warlike people whose violent history of interaction with whites would not have brought the pair any joy had they been aware of it. Right now, the Ehattesahts were the least of their problems. Hungry and exhausted, they were resigned to spending at least one more night in the mountains before they reached their destination.

“We gotta find shelter,” Thompson gasped, stating the obvious.

John nodded. He was very aware of the dangers a night in the open presented. Even though they’d reached the shelter of trees, there was still snow underfoot and the temperature was close to freezing. Unless they kept moving, he doubted they’d survive a night in the open.

They descended via a forest trail carved out by generations of elk and other animals of the region. Steep in places, it caused them to slip and slide their way down the mountainside.

Thompson tripped and John hurried to help him to his feet. When they looked up, a cougar appeared on the trail barely thirty yards ahead of them.

“Holy shit!” Thompson muttered.

The escapees froze. So, too did the cougar. She stood looking at the pair through huge eyes that seemed to glow almost orange in the semi-dark of the forest.

John’s first thought was for the musket he’d lost in the ravine. Next to him, Thompson was already unshouldering his musket.

“Easy!” John whispered, anxious that his companion made no sudden movement that could prompt the cougar to attack.

Thompson didn’t need any such warning. He moved so slowly it took him an age to unshoulder his musket. As he did, the cougar bared her fangs and growled. It was a long, low growl that was barely audible, but it sent shivers through the pair. Both were convinced the feline was viewing them as dinner.

Still the cougar made no move. Which was just as well as Thompson had yet to prime his musket. A task he could normally perform in a few seconds took him another age – by which time both he and John were sweating profusely despite the cold.

Anxious not to spook the cougar, John resisted the temptation to ask Thompson whether he was loading a musket ball or shot into the musket. He prayed it was the latter as firing pellets required less accuracy than did firing a solitary musket ball.

The cougar suddenly emitted a bone-chilling scream and pounced, her charge so quick Thompson barely had time to raise his musket and pull the trigger.

Strait of Georgia…the escapees’ intended destination.

Thompson’s aim was true, and the musket ball he’d just loaded struck the cougar between the eyes, killing her instantly. She hit the ground hard just ten yards from them, rolling over and over until she stopped almost at their feet.

“Great shot!” John rejoiced, the relief evident in his voice.

Thompson was momentarily speechless. He looked down at his hands and saw they were trembling violently. Then he started laughing.

John joined in the laughter. Their delight was unrestrained. Neither thought it odd. It seemed a natural way of expressing their huge relief, and neither gave any thought to the possibility others may have heard the shot.

Finally, Thompson said, “Well, fuck me! I thought we were gonners.”

As their laughter subsided, John said, “At least we have meat on tonight’s menu.”

Thompson looked down at the cougar and smiled as he pictured himself tucking into a meal of barbecued cougar rump.

‘Bankrupting the Third World’ reveals a nefarious hidden agenda at play

Dedicated to the impoverished in forgotten places of the world, the new release book BANKRUPTING THE THIRD WORLD: How the Global Elite Drown Poor Nations in a Sea of Debt  questions whether the likes of the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the United States Agency for International Development and other big international aid organizations help or hinder the world’s poorest people.

Bankrupting the Third World  also questions whether the aid packages provided are genuine or whether they are scams designed to subjugate Third World countries. And it exposes the culture of corruption within the aforementioned aid organizations and the arrogance with which they treat their Third World ‘clients.’

An excerpt from the book’s blurb follows:

The Morcans reveal there’s a nefarious hidden agenda at play whereby the ‘generosity’ extended by international aid organisations in assisting the development of the Third World and providing relief in the event of natural disasters comes with serious strings attached. Strings designed to fleece vulnerable nations.

The reader is reminded the economic hit men popularized in John Perkins’ 2004 bestseller ‘Confessions of an Economic Hit Man’ are still alive and well – in Africa in particular.

Bankrupting the Third World  puts two poverty-stricken nations under the magnifying glass to reveal the long-term impact of being the recipient of substantial financial aid from the West. The resulting debt accrued by these nations may surprise even the most skeptical reader.

In writing this book, the authors were motivated by one sickening statistic: 21,000 people die from starvation every day. That’s one person every four seconds!

More sickening is the fact such deaths are unnecessary given there is more than enough wealth in the world for everyone to at least receive the basic necessities of life, and more than enough in the Third World for it to organically sustain itself.

By the time you get to the end of this book you’ll see there’s as much wealth to be found in the Third World as there is in the First World. In fact, terms like ‘Third World’ and ‘impoverished nations’ are essentially misnomers as they imply wealth and resources are limited in these forgotten places. The authors aim to dispel that myth once and for all.

It’s hoped Bankrupting the Third World  will contribute in some small way to the masses pressuring world leaders to eradicate the extreme poverty that sees millions of our fellow Human Beings – men, women and children – dying unnecessarily every year.
