The Hardest Part of Sharing Your Story
The hardest part about sharing your testimony is the shame. The shame that is intertwined with what has happened in your past that you may have done, or what has been done to you.
The problem with finally being vulnerable enough to pour out from the depths of our heart is that we need to face our fears. The fear of failure and the fear that if someone actually knew our past, then they would judge our future. Or maybe they would stop liking us, or even stop loving us.

“Just Watch Me…”
Late last year there came a point where God spoke to my heart and encouraged me to just sit and watch what He will do. Up until then I had been working to control about every single situation in my life, in particular I was trying to control my husband’s illness. A Year of Hope
My word for 2013 is hope. Which I think is fitting since my word last year was faith.

The Hat Lady
Today I made my usual weekly run to Target to buy things like toilet paper, an ink cartridge for my printer, and new calendars (woohoo Happy New Year!) It was a crazy trip, one where all three of my kiddos weren't feeling well, and neither was I. It certainly took longer than I cared for the trip to take.

Trials and Temptation
