Entity Reference Views Help Drupal Content Creators

Entity Reference Views are one way you can make life easier for Drupal content creators.

Normally, when people are creating content on your site, each field consists of a single box with a single data point. For example, in a list of people, you might get only the person's name.

Entity Reference Views allow you to provide far more information. For example, you can add photos and personal details to your list of people.

Install a Joomla Template Manually with Discover

It is very common that large Joomla templates with many features are over 2 MB in size. This can make these templates hard to install in the standard way.

Luckily, Joomla provides an alternative for those cases - the "Discover" feature.

Solving 404 Errors When Using Htpasswd

One of our Pro support members was having trouble getting into the admin section of his website. He was getting a 404 error. No recent changes had been made to the site and it was working fine a few days ago.

We debugged the issue for him and it ended up being an issue with an Apache update and an incompatible htaccess/htpasswd rule. This tutorial will show you the fix.

What WordPress Template File Am I Using?

Sometimes you discover a plugin and wonder how you ever survived without it.

For me, that's true for the "What Template Am I Using?" plugin. This is like Firebug, but specifically for your WordPress site. It's incredibly useful for theme developers. The plugin shows you the current template file you're using, plus any additional files being called such as header.php or footer.php. Oh, and it shows lots of additional information as well.

In this video from class "Introduction to WordPress Theme Development", Topher introduces you to the WordPress theme hierarchy and to this very useful plugin.
