Just Some Random Thoughts

Today (well, tonight) a fan wrote to me.  She said, more or less, "Is Elena going to become a vampire again?  I'd really like that.  Could you tell the ghostwriter to put it into her books?"

I may seriously lose my mind.  I can't tell the ghostwriter anything.  First, I'm not allowed to.  Second, if I were allowed to speak to her, what would I say?  I know who she is.  I knew her before I chose her as the person to carry the series on after I had written either three or six more books...

The CW picked up The Secret Circle pilot for the upcoming season. The pilot was written by Kevin Williamson and Andrew Miller, who will also be executive producers for the show along with Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo from Alloy Entertainment. The pilot is shot in Vancouver with Liz Freidlander as director. The cast according to IMBD is set to include Britt Robertson (Life Unexpected) as Cassie Blake, and Thomas Dekker as Adam...

Spot the Commercial!

This is going to be brief, but sweet.  I recently got confirmation from my agent that the commercial (I thihk it's going to be kind of a mini-comercial--anyway Those In The Know call it a call-out, not a commercial) for my last Vampire Diaries book Midnight will be on tonight. 

Do people really watch commercials at all these days?  I don't know.  Maybe not.

Just a reminder . . .

This is going to be quite short and sweet.  First, Midnight came out as Number Four in Publisher's Weekly, which is excellent considering that all children's books were being considered.  So thank you once again, and I won't bore you with any more news of this sort.
