2013 To the Good

All right, folks, here's the deal: 2012 was a horrid, wretched, slovenly beast of a year for most of its duration. Chaos has two faces, and the one that showed most often during the Year of the Dragon was that of which nightmare is made.

2013, however, will be better. I shall... make it so.

For however long it lasts, I will be doing my level-demented-best to post/list/shout out GOOD things. I am determined to find something amazing in each day, to take them slowly, to make them count.

...and possibly make them beg, whimper, and plead with me with large, shining eyes...

I figure I'll update this about once a week with my notes on the good. Right now, my determination knows no bounds, and, as I'm in a SHARING kind of mood, I offer this up to thee:

1. Make your own list/post/etc. wherever you wish.
2. Link back to the list where you got the idea.
3. Update it often and create a blog-hopping list chain that is the embodiment of Bending Reality Over Your Knee And Making It Think Happy Thoughts.
4. Cross-post like crazy and share the love.

Now then... GO!

...♥ THE LIST OF GOOD ♥...
I got this meme from Kelly Wyre. She hangs out over at Chaos & War.

December 31st, 2012
- Received a beautiful handmade scarf and a sweet card from a friend that made me cry. In good ways.
- Resolved to stop worrying about tears. What is the point in feeling things fully if one tries to hide their effects? Honestly. Wasted effort.
- Spent New Years with friends playing Cards Against Humanity.
- Made sure the first thing I did in 2013 was kiss the husband, tell him I love him, wish friends happy 2013, and drink Gin with a side of gluten-free brownie cookie.
- Stayed up until 3 a.m. talking to a friend whom I treasure.

January 1st, 2013
