Read Only Wednesday - Zero Point by Neal Asher #scifi

Earth’s Zero Asset citizens no longer face extermination from orbit. Thanks to Alan Saul, the Committee’s network of control is a smoking ruin and its robotic enforcers lie dormant. But power abhors a vacuum and, scrambling from the wreckage, comes the ruthless Serene Galahad. She must act while the last vestiges of Committee infrastructure remain intact – and she has the means to ensure command is hers. On Mars, Var Delex fights for the survival of Antares Base, while the Argus Space Station...

You Choose the Prize

Good morning lovely people! With my next book coming out in June, I've been browsing around looking at pretty things for me to giveaway as a prize to celebrate the release of my YA scifi novel Gethyon. I love shiny things, and while I'd rather keep them for myself (sorry) I also like to give pressies to other people. And I struck lucky. I found what I think is the perfect thing. Unfortunately, I then found two more. So, I decided the best way to choose was to let you all pick what you'd like...

Announcements - 20/2/2013

Firstly, I have a winner to announce. Liese2 got the Amazon gift card I offered as my prize for the Celebrating Saint Valentine Blog Hop. Congrats!
Secondly, I received news on Monday that my scifi romance short story has been accepted into the Tales from the SFR Brigade anthology. Another yay! I'm stoked, especially as I love the two characters in it so much I'm currently writing a sequel that may make novel length. Huge congrats to everyone else who made it into the anthology - I know it's g...

Celebrating Saint Valentine - Pippa's Post

Welcome to the Celebrating Saint Valentine's Giveaway Hop! If I could have anything I wanted for Valentine's Day, it would be to spend time alone with the love of my life, somewhere away from the rest of the world - or even the rest of the universe like my characters from Keir. I'd take my loved one to the idyllic tropical isle of Kasha-Asor that I created, with wide beaches of pale pink sand and groves of whispering bamboo trees.

And the place where we'd stay and dream in each other's arms wo...

Cover Reveal - Star Attraction
I'm proud to be taking part in a multi-blog cover reveal for my good friend and fellow Brigader and Champagne Books author, Misa Buckley. Behold, Star Attraction!
Blurb: Observatory tour guide Megan Shaw has always had stars in her eyes, so when she all but runs down the otherworldly Raul, she barely blinks. It doesn’t hurt that Raul is hot – whether in his human form or his natural one – and that there’s an immediate mutual attraction.
But Raul is on the run from his alien overlords and soon M...

Terms & Conditions Apply - JABBIC Contest

Terms & Conditions Apply needs your help! My cover is up in the Science Fiction/Fantasy/Paranomal category of the contest here. It does take a little time to go through the entries to reach mine (30 ish) but I'd truly appreciate it. Thank you! xxx
And if you have a spare moment, please swing by the YA category and show Renegade and Witch Way to Turn some cover love too.

One Month In
So it's February already and another half term school holiday is rushing toward me. Having missed my stint over at Spacefreighters Lounge this week due to illness - the first time I haven't posted there this year as part of my New Year's pledge to blog more - I thought a quick catch up post on January might be a good idea.
What I've done
The edits for my scifi romance novella Tethered came back from my lovely editor Dani, and after following her suggestions, it's now out on submission. Expected...

A Contest Win for Keir!

Yesterday I received notification that Keir had come second in the You Gotta Read Reviews Cover Contest. Woo hoo! Considering the competition, I'm thrilled! Of course, the real credit has to go to Renee Rocco, cover designer and the owner of Lyrical Press Inc who published my book. So a huge thank you to her for my prize winning cover, and a massive thanks to everyone who voted for him. Mwah!
