Nancy Wait was born in Chicago and grew up in New York City where she studied acting at Performing Arts and Carnegie-Mellon before moving to London in 1969 to study at RADA and have a career in England (1970s as Nancie Wait), in film (Au-Pair Girls), television and theater.
