But the best thing that I have experienced thus far has been to see someone I didn't even know sitting reading my book and clearly enjoying it. That happened a couple of times recently and was really amazing!(less)

Lynette Chambers Charlene H. wrote on her Amazon review: A good story becomes a part of the reader. This story is even more special to me because I share a small connection with the people out of whose hearts and souls it was born. I laughed, loved, and mourned right along with the Stottz family and, through it all, I thought about the authors and the joy and pain they must have felt as they gave life to the family I fell in love with. A couple of times, I was so mad at the two of them I could have just spit! Then, the story would take a new turn and I was so tickled with them both that I laughed right out loud! This book gave me so much more than a few hours of quiet enjoyment; Sheldon's family will stay with me for a long, long time.
