Inked in the Steel City Series 3 Year Anniversary Sale & Reveal

The Inked in the Steel City Series turns 3 this month! In December 2011, I published Hot Ink (Book 1), and the series has since expanded into six volumes that are my most popular titles. I appreciate the years of support and am doing a couple special things to celebrate this milestone.

First of all, I'm holding a sale. My biggest one ever (by far), actually. Now through December 17th, the Inked in the Steel City Series Box Set #1 is $0.99 (reg. $7.99). You can find it on sale at:
AMAZON B&N APPLE KOBO
I’m also revealing — for the first time — which couple will star in Book 7 (coming in 2015). Watch the video below to find out. ;)
Thank you for showing the Hot Ink Tattoo Studio so much love over the past 3 years. ;)

I'm Doing an Online Holiday Book Signing!

So, I'm doing my first ever online book signing. Over the years I've received quite a few requests to sell signed books online somehow, but I've never actually done it, until now. I thought the holiday season would be a great time to hold an online signing since books make great gifts for others -- or, you know, yourself. ;)

Here's how it works: now through Dec. 7th you can order copies of any of my paperback books. I'll sign and ship them via Priority Mail by Dec. 15th, and you'll have them in time for the holidays. (The order form is for continental US orders, but I'll ship your order anywhere in the world. If you need a book shipped internationally or to a non-continental US location, contact me and I'll make it happen.)
All orders will also come with a hand-written holiday greeting card, and if you want, I'll even put a bow on it.
Basically, you'll get a signed and personalized book, just like at a regular signing. You'll have to imagine me presenting you with the book using my best Vanna White pose, though.

P.S. If you're looking for book-themed clothing, you can find that in my merchandise store.

I just got back from Cincinnati, where I attended Queen City Indie Con, my last signing event for this year. I had a great time! Here are a few photos from the event...

Cover model Andrew (from my Always a Marine Box Set).
So, this is my Vanna White impression.
Dinner at Nicholson's.
After party #1 ... yes, there were more!
I'm giving away a signed Queen City Indie Con tote bag full of books and goodies in my November newsletter. If you're not a subscriber but would like to be, you can sign up here.
Thank you to all those who attended Queen City Indie Con, came to see me, hung out with me and Andrew, etc. You made it fun! :)

Love Liam and His Cuffs? You Can Vote for Your Favorite Officer!
About a week from today I'll be in Cincinnati for Queen City Indie Con. And I'm pretty excited about it! Andrew (book cover model, and also my brother) will be with me and we plan to have fun while we're there.
Yesterday I found out that Officer Next Door was voted into the final round for the QCIC book awards in two categories: 'Best White-Knuckle Book' and 'Best All-Around Adult Book'. I'm not gonna lie ... that was a pretty nice surprise (and an ego boost). LOL Thank you to those who voted in the earlier rounds and put Liam and his cuffs in the finals. ❤

If you'd like to cast your vote in the final round, you can - voting is open to the public.

Thank you. :)
P.S. Will you be at QCIC? If so, I'll see you there! Make sure you stop by my signing table Saturday for one of the handcuff charm bracelets Andrew will be giving to readers.

Ridiculously True (& Cute) Book T-Shirts
That's what I'm trying to fill my merchandise shop with. :) If you haven't gone to my site and hit the 'shop' tab lately, you probably haven't seen the new stuff that's gone live over the past couple weeks. Here are some examples...
I've retired my original designs, and these are the first of many new ones I'll be adding over the coming weeks and months. If you visit my shop, you'll see a variety of different colors and shirt styles (including long sleeve tops) bearing these designs.
Books and shopping happen to be two of my favorite things, so I've been having fun with my shop's revamp.
If you'd like, you can browse my shop here.

Video Blog (Yeah, I'm Doing That Now): Where I Get My Story Ideas
So, I'm video blogging. It's something I'd been wanting to try all summer, but I didn't get the ball rolling until my friend Elise Marion inspired me. I decided to keep my first video simple with an answer to one of the most common questions I get: how do I come up with my story ideas? But to explain that, I'll have to explain the other super awkward question that made me realize just how legit of an inquiry that is...
I plan to keep video blogging, and if you have a question you'd like me to answer via video, I'd love to hear it. Drop me an e-mail or get in touch with me via Facebook or Twitter. :)
