First bad review...ouch

Ok, so any author expects to get bad reviews, it's just a part of writing. I know it will make me a better writer, but I would be lying if I said it didn't sting. But this is my first book and there are bound to be tons of improvements I can make in my writing si I only hope that Blood Rites will be better. Thank you all for your continued input, good or bad, it will help me grow as a writer.

Blood Rites is coming along!

I'm so excited! I got to work on Blood Rites last night for several hours straight, which is usually hard for me to find time like that, and I got so much done! It was 12:30 a.m. when I finally stopped but I was on such a roll and ideas were flying through my head so I didn't want to stop. Any ways just wanted to pass on my joy at getting a lot done. I think this book is actually going to be more exciting, with more action (we all know how Jen would respond to that comments:) ) than Price of Wolves. Hopefully it will be received just as well as the first in the series. Happy reading everyone!

Been awhile

So I know it's been a few weeks since I've said hello, life has been crazy here in Arkansas. I have to say THANK YOU to every one who has taken a chance on me and bought my book! I sold 19 books in 3 days on Amazon! That is awesome. I'm trying to work on Blood Rites but it is difficult working full time and going to school so please keep me in your prayers. Hopefully I will get to say hi more often and be able to keep you all up to date on the progress of Blood Rites!

School and writing...

Well I've started classes to work towards getting my RN and I'm learning just how time consuming it is to work full time, be a mom and wife, go to school and try to write a book, can be, and to add insult to injury we are in the process of moving as well. I guess I just wanted to see how full my plate could get before I colapsed! I'm praying that I will have good time management skills and not get over whelmed. I'm hoping not to have to push back the release date of Blood Rites, but I can't promise that I won't have to. So to all those eagerly awaiting to see what happens with Fane and Jacque, be patient with me! Thank you to everyone who has taken a chance on me and bought my book!

Readers get to participate!

I was trying to think of ways to make my writing better and to help make those who read my books feel closer to my characters; this is what I've come up with. I think it would be really neat if people would give me their thoughts and ideas on what should be in Blood Rites, the 2nd book in the Grey Wolves Series. Ideas for the plot, conflict, romance, etc. Granted I won't be able to incorporate every idea, but I think it would be cool for me to take those ideas and which ones I think will work and put them in and then when those who have given me ideas read the book, they can see if I was able to incorporate it into the book. I do reserve the right to add or tweek the idea to fit the story, and I won't guarantee that if you submit an idea that it will be used, but I think it would be a fun way for those who maybe don't aspire to be a writer but do have good ideas to get to see their ideas in print.
