Inspiration for an author is priceless, and we can’t find that stimulation if we’re stuck in a rut because we’re too afraid to go outside our comfort zone.

Although most of my novels include some type of mysterious haunting, I have never actually seen a ghost. I’ve always believed that some type of spiritual energy lingers, even after a person is gone, but I had never had an experience that solidified this belief until....

Love is so effortless when it’s new, but what happens when that flash fades, when difficult jobs, late nights up with sick kids and the stresses of day to day steal our attention and erode the ability to appreciate?

Like many authors, my first book (a medieval) languishes under the metaphorical bed. That is, it’s tucked away in a folder, cowering in the bottom corner of my computer screen. I loved that story. It had wonderful characters—lots and lots and lots of characters. In fact, about half way through, the hero’s best friend sort of…changed, because another one came along and before I knew it, he took over and demanded all the best sidekick’s lines.

TCRW Valentine Blog Tour

Although those visions lure me into thoughts of delectable decadence, we all know love involves so much more.

Love possesses us and gives a sense of possession. But possession isn’t control. Possession isn’t having things your way, and it isn’t, as Eric Segal said in his 1970 novel, Love Story, never having to say you’re sorry—or never having to forgive.
